Thinking about it in hindsight, it’s crazy that I never watched this show growing up (or didn’t keep watching it). But it makes me appreciate the comedy watching it for the first time now. Can’t wait for the more serious arcs

44:42 this new credit ending and the omake where gin wearing glasses. Its based off a spin off series called ginpachi sensei class 3Z. Gin is a teacher in it and it takes place in a modern high school setting. I will leave it at that because there is a 12 episode mini series but watch that after you finish the main gintama series. Later on you will know all of the characters and it still makes sense in this mini series after watching the main series in its entirety. This ending gives you a little bit taste of that spin off series. Also the ginpachi sensei 3z series had just came out back in oct 2025. It came out after gintama main series was already done finished. As someone who seen it, It was a pretty good spin off series

angel

✨Kohaku, the red & white song festival that happens every New Years Eve, is a major production with all the most popular and talented singers/bands/groups of the past year performing their hits. I've watched it many times over the years, I haven't watched it in recent years though. The white team is always the men and the red team is always the women and judges vote on who wins at the end of the show. The show usually ends about 15~30 minutes before midnight. It has been around for at least 50 years? Maybe longer? ✨I'm pretty sure you can buy Jump here in the US. I used to buy them from 7-11 every week after church when I was 13. It's how I started reading Naruto!

Thanks for making this list! I been wanting to but haven't had time.

No, the ending is based on the little clips Gintama sometimes has at the start or the end of an episode. Ginpachi Sensei. Gintoki is the teacher and the others charecters are students. "Ginpachi Sensei Class 3Z" didn't exist back when this first came out

gojulas 200

yeah, it was it first omakes, next JUMP made light novels of it, then later in 2025 they animated it into a mini series
