Ya know WHATTT? I Bet this took heavy American inspiration from DBZ 🤣 As a writer, I could tell when a story just introduces something NEW outta nowhere. This Nolan Backstory was NOT planned from the start, but due to the popularity of the character, he grew into more. Thank you, Capitalism. So anyways, the bottom line is, Nolan was basically NERFED in his backstory to just being "Lucky", and not some overly-skilled warrior. Adequate, yes. But Super Viltrumite??? Naw, not even close. I'll end by saying, much like the last half of AoT, I think this is where Kirkman really started putting what the Fans were saying into the actual story. At least 20% to 1/3rd of this season is supposed to be "filler", so we will see how Kirkman fleshes out his vision.

Scientists of Allen’s race made him that strong, they tried to make others but Allen was the sole survivor of the experiments. Thaddeus just turned off Allen’s life support when he was recovering, and hoped Allen would live on his own and get stronger.

Nolan’s plot/story is the best part of the show. Great backstory in the beginning. He’s defo a legend back home, even in season2 when he whooped them viltumites they called him “ the great Nolan”.

Yes, that is correct. They only have sex for procreation. Their job was to reproduce and if Nolan survived, test him for adulthood. They don't do consent, they don't do passion or romance. Most female Viltrumites don't even want to have kids and they have a biological berserker rage. The mom would've 100% have beaten Nolan to death if the dad didn't pull her off and she saw that as weakness; if he deserved to live, he woulda won. So yeah; she probably considered him a failure, is probably pissed that she had to sit on the sidelines for 9 months to birth a failure and that the male who she comingled DNA with is also a failure, BUT...orders are orders.

Think you may have missed it cause some of y’all thought Conquest wasn’t on the planet, but he was. Those who recover from the virus go through a SEVERELY weakened state, and are much easier to kill or injure. It’s what made the virus so deadly because the implication is that there were probably MORE viltrumites who survived the scourge who simply died because they got packed up during a mission not realising that their powers were weakened. Conquest is a case and point example cause he went to tussle with those abominations in that state and lost his arm as a result (though the fact he managed to survive that place at all whilst being in such a state tells you how terrifying he is as an entity lol).

Nolan literally just said "find shelter and food if you can" to the children, they obviously are let go from their parents at a very early age, way before the adulting that nolan went through. also the betrayer killed argall, he didn't start the purge. the purge was argall's doing

There was no first purge only one which was after Argall was killed when Viltrumites started killing more. The poison was just called the Scourge.

100% ... Nolan changed in heavy part due to Debbie's influence (and Mark's), but a lot of it was just him and his openness to change vs. that of other Viltrumites. It's obvious he intentionally did not wipe out the Sinlax Beetle species out of a sense of compassion -- one that even he may not have known he possessed at the time.
