I never rocked with Cecil, tho he's had his moments... I swear to you he will NOT allow them back on the planet. I think what we are missing in your guys discussion about Nolan’s redemption is that seemingly, before the scourge virus, it was not uncommon for people to question the empire. They were just promptly executed, even as children. So many know the ramifications of the Viltrum Empire, and silently go with the flow. I personally do not believe that the actions of Nolan prior to leaving Earth are exonerated by his Viltrumite culture. He is clearly anatomically capable of self reflection and empathy now. So he was also capable then.

I hate that they made Cecil seem incompetent with resurrecting Conquest. Love that conquest is back and this episode shows. But definitely came at the cost of Cecil's character. Cause I feel like even if Cecil were to do something this risky, Cecil from previous seasons would have had better contingencies. Like why didn't he put that device he used that could scramble Mark's brain in Conquest 's head when repairing him? Why was he even repaired to that degree in the first place?

Oliver could end up dying on this trip (hopefully not), but i think he will play his part. Especially considering his fast development. His presence reminds me of Gohan in the Namek saga.
