Idk why this episode is considered non canon It’s canon as far as I’m concerned But all this production weirdness is definitely why Secret of the Omnitrix is the series finale that makes sense

It’s considered non-canon because it contradicts later events. If Goodbye and Good Riddance happened, Ben’s parents would’ve already known about the Omnitrix in Alien Force. Secret of the Omnitrix is the only ending that cleanly leads into the sequel series.

this one isn't canon to the rest of the series just like the gwen 10 ep but still a fun one

Just a heads up, Goodbye and Good Riddance is generally considered a non-canon/alternate timeline episode. The biggest reason is that Ben’s identity becomes public and his parents learn about the Omnitrix, which doesn’t line up with Alien Force, where they’re still unaware.
