Katsura is anti-foreigner faction too and is a leader of his own rebel group, but because of reuniting with Gintoki and that ep with Ikumatsu (the ramen shop owner lady whose husband died because of hooligans using anti-foreign ideals to create trouble), he became not as radical. This was also mentioned in the Benizakura arc during his convo with Takasugi (who only wants to destroy everything) where he said that he understands Takasugi but there's too many things and people he care about in Edo, there should be a better way to go about it. So basically, both Katsura and Takasugi are anti-foreigner but just different factions and ideals! Sorry for the long explanation haha, enjoy y'alls reaction to Gintama as always 🔥

Don't get me wrong, this is a really good arc (like an 8.5) but I don't think it's one of the best in the series, you'll see!

Katsura is rebel too but he leads different group that became less radical then Takatsugi's after reuniting with Gintoki. Katsura actually has vision for the country unlike Takasugi who just wants to throw everything into chaos. That's the difference between them.

Yeah Gintama got so many great moments, and the way they balance the comedy and action and seriousness its amazing. And the good thing about it is that it just keep getting better and better and each arc bring something to the table. But indeed it is such a journey that you gotta watch from the start to the end.

Gintama follows the same formula as one piece. Yall werent as open minded before one piece. But gintama and one piece shares the same formula. Which is rewarding the watchers and readers for waiting. They do all that goofy stuff and sillyness and then when it gets serious. Im really that top 5 anime. And not only that. Since yall been watching scary movie recently. Gintama randomness and humour perfectly aligns with those films too. Cuz they both parody genre
