Blackest Knight

IRL, this story ended in the first 2 minutes. This episode highlighted a very recent event (2023) where a teacher took their life (IN THE CLASSROOM) after dealing with overbearing parents like you see here. They left behind a diary with a letter to their Mom saying "never forgive the person that did this to me". Chilling shtuff, yo.

lavenderspecs

I think you guys have to understand everyone doesn’t has the same mindset. Some people find it hard to stand up for themselves.

Bumpark

All my respect to Wellz for always being the one who has 100% focus on the screen

We need episode 6.

Blackest Knight

Please understand that the rules and laws have changed quite a bit since we were in school. Why? because of most of the stuff Teachers used to get away with. I'd be interested in Jerry asking his mom about this show and if it's still OKAY to clap back the same ways. Granted, this is also a different country with a different hierarchy. In such a small community, reputation follows you pretty much your whole life. You can be banned from ever leaving the country once you fuck up enough. Not to mention the social ramifications of being classified in a negative way. Yall were harsh on ol' gal, and I get it. Things wouldn't fly like that in America... Except it did. Earlier this year, in January, a special ed teacher took her own life by jumping in a lake... In July, a beloved Theater teacher with a Broadway career also off'd himself. Most likely has nothing to do with bullying or parents, but it's hard out here for a Teacher. Any age, Any where. I do respect y'alls points tho. Sometimes, you can save yourself.

After this kdrama you guys should definitely check out Agent Kim Reactivated on Netflix! 10/10 show

Blue Nach

Again, not everyone is built the same especially in this situation. Even if she did things differently, they would still harass her. The whole point is that teachers aren't protected by laws like Ms. Choi wasn't.

MIGUZI

yes why tho.

MIGUZI

yeah this was a piss poor reaction like ep4 rob distracting everyone from what happening talking about some bullshit and nothing related to the show

Bumpark

I’ve noticed that the others have major issues with concentration. They get easily distracted. Wellz is the only one who can talk while paying attention to the screen and what’s going on in the show

Nightfall06!

They movin like NPCs in Korea. Don’t got self respect over there fr if parents and kids are bullying grown adults.

Luna Mé

Teachers are humans too. Being mentally invulnerable is not a requirement for teaching, and being bullied by parents isn't exactly part of the job description. I find it odd that you spent more time criticizing her than the mom, who was the clear villain in the situation. Mind you, this story is inspired by a real tragedy, and the teacher did end up taking her own life... She was in her early 20s. Compared to many of those parents, she was pratically a kid herself... The real people to blame are the mother for harassing her, the school for not protecting her, and the legal system for not taking stalking and harassment seriously and allowing that kind of behavior to continue.

MIGUZI

True I seen it
