Watched the latest movie yesterday, it was so good. But I don't think the movie would be steamed yet when you guys watching that arc.

vD10

If you’re talking about the Yoshiwara in Flames arc the episodes are defintely better on first watch. It’s not the same as Benizakura arc. Episodes 139-146 are insanely good and levels up the whole show

I agree with vD10, just watch the episodes until they get to the movies that are not altered adaptations of episodes. Benizakura arc is really the only episode-to-movie arc that could be watched with minimal spoilers and alterations that change the show.

Maybe when they finish The Who gintama, they can watch the yoshihara movie. But it's really hard to wait to get into the main plot of Gintama, the recent 10-20 eps and the following 10-20 eps are relatively mid eps compared to the ones after like 140. And I feel like the show just elevate 200% when we reach like 200 eps, it's get funnier and more serious. But when can the my watch the movie final odd house, maybe after the spider arc?

Their 4th wall breaks are so funny lol they’re literally making fun of each other while writing the show 🤣
