There are still hightowers and velaryons in game of thrones. They arent really mentioned in the tv adaptation tho, i think the hightowers maybe once or twice. In the books the velaryons side with stannis i think after cersei basically gave them a place in the council and they used her for a power scheme.

BTW Flynn's actor is also in peaky blinders as the shelby brother's father, he's in braveheart as well. very consistent accent who got his scars from a gang when he was younger making him very distinct looking and cool

great reaction! in honesty i do love this story but i'm not fond of how it was directed, (so far from the actual story that the original author stepped away and said it wasn't his work anymore) the pacing, events, characters (some characters/dragons got completely cut from the story in the show😭) , and the deaths are much different in the books, so if you guys want to indulge in the canon storyline, I suggest reading the books as they are a work of art!!!

The hightowers were in game of thrones girl married renly,Joffrey,tommen(can’t remember her name) was a Hightower from her mother it’s just them and the velaryions don’t get into politics anymore

they were Tyrells, and Lady Olena wasnt a hightower, Margaery's and Loras' mom was a Hightower. The only Hightower is a brief scene when young Ned fights Arthur Dayne, the other Kingsguard was a Hightower
