Omega Sirius

Under normal circumstances, waterbenders can only bloodbend during a full moon, this was covered in Avatar too. Tarlok and his family were just the most powerful waterbenders in history, which is why they can bloodbend at any other time, reason being they were debating in court during the era of Avatar Aang.

Right. I was just slightly confused by the fact that it was so clear this enhanced bloodbending ability would surely pass from father to son. I mean, even normal bending doesn't always pass on to the children. And in theory there COULD be other really strong and unique benders out there somewhere, not necessarily connected to Yakone's family. Anyway, I'm not really sure I'm making any sense anymore. Just tried to convey what made me confused. But I'm just being nit-picky. Overall, I do get it:)
