I know no one in Konoha treats him like one, but Sasuke is a criminal because he deserted the village. Whether he wants to come back to Konoha or not is irrelevant. I think what Sakura and Naruto are doing for Sasuke right now is pretty merciful. If he didn't have those two on his side still, Konoha's attempts to retrieve Sasuke would be less retrieval and more capture, interrogate, jail, and possible execution. Remember that this world has ninja who hunt down and murder missing-nin like Sasuke just for abandoning their village. So technically, Sasuke has no free will- he has to come back or be forced to. That's how I look at it, but I understand your feelings on the matter, too.

Right, that makes total sense of course! I kinda knew that in the back of my head (I do remember Haku and Zabuza), but they didn't really say it outright, and I guess I didn't want to think of Sasuke that way (thank god for Naruto and Sakura!). Although the same thing did happen with Orochimaru and Itachi and they were never brought back to the village - because they were too strong? At this point, Sasuke is too, right? In any case, thanks for the reminder and for setting me straight on this. I can definitely see how it's not exactly up to Sasuke whether he comes back or not😅

Keep It Zen

Damn Sasuke. Almost gets blown up by Deidara's nuke and he just stands there like he just got up in the morning. Stop acting so COOL Sasuke!!! xD Lol

The video in the opening is from the 3rd movie of Naruto Shippuden. It was like part of the promotion of the movie. My boy Tobi finally got his job application accepted at the Akatsuki headquarters after there were so many vacancies. Don't you doubt his rightly earned position...Tobi is a good boy! :D
