Watching the series from the beginning it’s hard to believe Shikamaru became such an important character for the series. He was always the one complaining but now everyone relies on him because he is so helpful. Jiraiya is sort of similar he was introduced as a joking character who was always being Pervy. We later find out he is a great ninja who also had an amazing drive to change the world..

Naruto has been getting crushed emotionally these last episodes. He failed to change sasuke from being a rogue Shinobi and now his master is dead. I understand what it’s like to be depressed and not wanting to talk and leave the house it sucks.

btw I love that ending song. Showing all of the main cast as kids...Naruto surrounded by other kids and not being lonely..Sasuke being all lonely and in the darkness 😢 My fav Naruto ending song.

Iruka and Shikamaru are the GOATS for this. Wait... false... they've always been the GOATS!! Man that Iruka scene with the popsicle is so beautiful & hard to watch. The first person who ever believed in Naruto. A true Day One! It's incredible how little screentime he has for being such an important character in Naruto's life, but anytime... ANYtime he is on screen he just steals the show, truly a wonderful and beautiful character & person.
