Yeah remember he said the same thing about Orochimaru to naruto. "As long as I get what I want, I dont care if Orochimaru steals my body" It probably means the same for him when it comes to Madara As long as he gets what he wants he doesn't care about being controlled

Gotta love Dr. Sigmund Sai, MD, Ph.D 👨‍⚕️ Man, he’s really come a long way since not knowing what the word comrade means. Also, Madara may be a manipulative jerk, but you have to admit his cool voice and mysterious cocky swagger is just so fun to watch sometimes...... sometimes.

S&T please never apologize for being you and expressing what you are feeling. Many of us felt exactly as you are feeling and totally understand. Kishimoto has himself said that he has NOT done a good job writing female characters. I think his writing is a result of the culture, traditions and the time period that he was brought up in. I think if you move ahead while accepting this issue with the writing, you will be able to enjoy the other components of this series, which are beautifully written. Will send you Kishimoto's interviews once you are close to finishing the series (want to avoid spoilers)...you will understand his perspective and approach to writing characters a little more then.

First off, feel free to express your feelings any time you want, honesty, thats what makes reactions great, ill say this though, Comparing Sakura to basically the two protagonist of the show isn't really fair tbh, Naruto an Sasuke are leagues above their peers, they make everyone look "bad" by comparison, compare Sakura to any of the other Konoha 12 an her resume could go toe to toe, also i would like to touch on the topic of Sakura thinking she could stop Sasuke, but cant with out going into spoilers so ill hold off a bit on that. Lastly, as you touched on, these Shonen series are geared towards young males, its kinda like watching Sailormoon an getting upset at the lack of Male representation lol. A show thats designed to target females. I get As a guy though, its probably hard for us to understand your frustrations being into shows like this an wanting more female empowerment , kishi has also admitted he isnt the greatest with handling female characters so theres that as well lol.

Sakura is useless compared to the main characters and for the most part the side characters. Kishimoto cant write female characters.
