So in the previous episode Gin had told Hitsugaya: "instead of coming after me, you should look after the lieutenant of squad 5". Which would be Hinamori. So that dialogue was not really so important tbh. Anyways it was still funny watching you solve the squad 5 mystery as if you were asked a tough math problem in an exam...you were adorable XD

Also wanted to share a little more on my perspective about this series. I watched this is a kid (12-13 year old). Back when I used to majorly watch American superhero cartoons which were my favorites. Then I started watching Bleach on tv, which for me was the Japanese equivalent of the American superhero cartoons. In Bleach we not only had an interesting and unique set of powers for each person, but there was a greater story going on as well..unlike most American cartoons, where each episode has a different story to tell. As a kid, me and my friends were most excited about battle scenes, bankai reveals, etc. For example, I remember me gushing over Byakuya's bankai reveal...it was so damn cool! Of course we were interested in the larger plot of saving Rukia and finding out what the heck Gin is up to as well...but that was secondary to us! There is another reason why Bleach really caught our interest....the reason is a spoiler so I'll refrain fro telling that. But now that I'm watching this series again alongside you, I do realize various issues with the series: the pacing, cliche character arcs (especially for a seasoned anime watcher like you and me), and sometimes poorly written dialogue. Furthermore, I know that you are not a big fan of anime battles or the type of person to fawn over a newly released Bankai etc...so I do see you having a harder time watching this series. Lets hope you find more interesting stuff in this series to latch on to as we go ahead. Currently my take is: you like Ishida, Inoue-Ishida interaction, Aizen murder mystery and of course the cutie Hanataro :D

I can relate to you, Bleach is far from perfect, but it's a "classic" Bleach has a cult following, and the fans deserve a great product. I don't hate on Bleach and i'm loving these reactions. I like the essence of Bleach, the shinigami and captains with their coats, the design of characters are cool but the formula and execution from the anime studio i feel is a little sub par. The dialogue can be weird sometimes. could you imagine remake of Bleach by ufotable studios? They did pretty great with the fate series, which was inspired by a video game i believe. and Demon Slayer is a big success for them. But maybe I'm asking for too much, Bleach is a shonnen and not necessarily a masterpiece of anime. I love DBZ it's the first anime i watched, even though it's bad in many aspects i still enjoy it, and i can enjoy Bleach in the same way.
