I believe that grave that Isshuu visited repeatedly in these 2-3 episodes was for the girl she shot during the assault on Zambani a while ago. It's the one who attacked their ship and brought all those little human forms. After killing her, Isshuu probably felt bad enough about it to mourn. Characters in this series do not just have one face. They're multi-faceted enough to show different emotions. It's the greatest strength of the story.

When Akiyuki was shot on the road, he probably pushed himself too far and started to lose himself to the Hiruko. That's why he was wobbling. Nakiami always warned him not to overuse his Xam'd form and that's the result I guess. It was also an interesting scene of how the soldier freaked out even more after knowing that he was human from seeing the hand. In other words, it's not the monster that scared him. It's the guilt of having killed innocent humans that really "freaked" him out.

For 13 episodes I've always hated Furuichi, but on this episode alone, I felt for him. He's just another confused teenager who didn't know how to express his emotions or handle his jealousy. After he got "cleansed" by Nakiami's seed, he was able to see clearly what he truly wanted. It's too bad once again those fucking soldiers got in the way and he was too tired of it all. The moment he accepted a regular life as the "shadow" of Akiyuki, he's confronted by harsh reality again as a convict. It shows you how much mental strength it takes to live as a Xam'd. Furuichi couldn't bear it. I prefer him over Riddhe who had life a lot easier.

Also, we finally had Haru admitting that she loves Akiyuki out loud. She is wrapping her head around her actual goal once again.
