Huang climbing rope did look a bit funny xD His memory wasn't merely spared by the syndicate on Shiyoko's request. Syndicate gave him no option but to join them if he wanted to keep his memories of Ishozaki intact, and syndicate seems to be a powerful org that could use talents of a guy like Huang (a cop). This episode shed some really nice perspective on differences between humans and contractors. An ideal contractor, for example, would not do stuff like bullying others because they won't feel any satisfaction or merit in it like a human might. If a contractor chooses to kill someone, it would not be result of an emotional trigger or anything, but merely that would be an act of self preservation, believing in doing what they think is benefiting to them. Some contractors tho seem to be capable of dreaming and acting irrational, like Alma who used her powers despite knowing her life is gonna end sooner if she did, and Shiyoko too, who sacrificed herself for Huang because she considered syndicate to be too powerful. Loved the episode myself.
