You should watch the bleach episodes 230-255. It has the best filler

I think they should've added this backstory in the episode on the bridge where Sasuke is about to kill Karin but then Sakura shows up. A lot of that episode was Sakura flashbacks that were used to stretch out the episode's pacing. We believe Karin is dead or near death at that point so a flashback to her past is fitting for Shippuden. They could've tied past to present with that shot of Sasuke's young "cool" face merging with Sasuke's now crazy and merciless face. Her dream is interesting. It's no secret deep down she wanted Sasuke, but I guess she also really wanted revenge on the man from the Hidden Grass who you could say led her mother to her death and Karin to her miserable childhood. Her want for revenge and satisfaction outweighed her want to be with her mother again, and maybe that's why her dream is what it is. Her backstory truly is one of the more tragic ones in the show, and I enjoyed your reaction :)
