It's kind of ambiguous in the show you are not wrong. The manga depicts Hange as an androgynous character without gender specific pronouns and the anime does too mostly since the "san" honorific is also genderless. The show does make Hange seem a little more feminine though. Idk it's confusing lol. The same episode in season 3 when they mention the 13 year clock for shifters they also explain if a shifter dies without passing the power on it is inherited by a yet to be born Eldian baby. Hope your sunburn feels better soon!

Here's what the wiki says on Hange's gender: "The manga's author, Hajime Isayama, has left Hange's gender open to interpretation as he told his editor that 'either one is fine' and instructed Kodansha Comics not to confirm any gender in their translation. Since then, Kodansha has removed gendered pronouns for Hange in their translation and clarified that indeed, Hange's gender is up to the reader's interpretation. The anime and the live-action movie, on the other hand, have consistently depicted Hange as female or with more pronounced feminine traits, as well as many manga translations into languages where avoiding gendered pronouns is difficult or impossible."

I love how you're trying to hide your "half red face" in the thumbnail but we can still see the video anyway..😝 Perfect episode btw. "Their faces got red in the sun, and your face too!" I feel your pain.. I've got burned by the sun many times in my life lol

Hange is clearly female (in the anime at least) in the manga it's more obscure but even then she still leans more to the feminine side. She also has boobs so would be kinda uh weird if she wasn't. 😅 Love how she was annoying Eren this episode.

Oh shit, I forgot about that too! Thanks for the reminder. Of course we have no way of actually ridding ourselves of the Titans curse😔
