this is a surprise. I wasn't expecting you to react to this. If you're ever confused just know that the confusion is normal when watching this haha

Dayum as soon as opeining music started to play i was hit with that strong nostalgia rush, and reminded how beautiful this series is - visually, music-wise and even themes of it. Heck first movie is asking if suicide is bad, lol you're in for a ride! :D You were obviously confused, as expected, but in defense of this show, unlike friggin Case Files this show DOES make sense after you watch everything, sorta like puzzle pieces falling into place. Oh and you didn't seem to pay attention but that last screen before preview which showed date september of 1998 is actually important because GUESS WHAT! Creator of this decided that it wasn't confusing enough so whole series is out of order! LOL (adding to that puzzle analogy), in fact they already dropped many stuff in this movie that you will notice only after watching whole series second time, which is actually kinda cool now that I think about it. So yeah those dates at the end can help to put things into perspective if you're a bit confused. Loved how at first you weren't so much into it but as soon as scene at the hospital started, that human element, you were immediately into it lol. Also they talked about it a lot in Case Files. Shiki has some kinda Mystic Eyes, Touko Aozaki is a mage who specializes in doll making/manipulating (how she got to make Shiki's fake arm look real - magic stuff) and Kokutou is just a dude who's real good at finding random stuff. And addressing returning characters, one of characters from this show will make brief cameo in heaven's feel movies (around 0.2 sec of screen time) but that's about it. What's more interesting though is that Garden of Sinners is first work of main writer of fate series Kinoku Nasu, and some of characters in this show are actually prototypes of characters from other shows which you already know and seen. But yeah, you're on good stuff now, this and heaven's feel is friggin amazing, can't wait for more aaaah

btw favorite credits song listened to this one a lot on repeat back in the day lol and what a good line "you're not choosing your path based on your sins, but instead carry your sins on the path you choose."
