Ok this is now my favorite fate reaction of yours!! Which is funny because this is my least favorite movie out of all three because of all the butchered scenes, like the first time I watched this I straight up hated this movie though I warmed up a lot to it overtime. So will try to anwser some stuff based on memory: Kirei had a daughter. She's a frickin badass love her character! She's in quite a few of fate/shows that you didn't see yet/that hadn't been adapted. Dat prayer purification from Kirei tho, truly best priest :D Angra Mainyu is from one of the most ancient religions in the world. So yeah that's quite a bit older than creation of Holy Grail Core/Greater Grail 500 years ago lel. In fate Angra is just a dude who was picked (due to villager's beliefs) to be All the World's Evil and every sin in the world was carved on his body, he was kept alive and tortured until he succumbed to old age. What three great families wanted to do however (Tohsaka, Makiri-Matou and Einzbern) was to materialize the soul in other words make souls physical and that comes with whole lot of additional explanations that im not going to go into right now. Ok so I know you kinda don't care about action too much but how could you not Even Mention the best anime fight of all time?!!!(Arguably of course) In the novel the moment Shirou loses his arm, story straight up turns into phantasy horror with unreliable narrator since we play as Shirou from first person and you can see all his thoughts and motivations and after spending like 60-70 hours with him, it's such a big twist! Memories start to jumble, scenes are straight up skipped through, Shirou doesn't loses his ability to think moment from moment, he straight up dies if he loses concentration and focus, also a ton and ton of Illya and Kirei scenes were cut short which is real shame since those two and Shirou are what made Heaven's Feel the best for me. On the ending - Im so happy you guessed it right and remembered Aozaki!! I even said in one of your KnK reactions that one of their characters makes a cameo in HF, and that was her totally! Yes Shirou's body was destroyed during cave collapse but due to Illya's sacrifice and her using third sorcery, Shirou's soul was being kept alive (and then there's that short scene of shirou and archer holding hands, I have no idea what's that about are they merged together or something?) for a while, and after some time Rin and Sakura sold Matou's magic books for a ton of cash and payed Aozaki Touko to make Shirou a new doll body and basically through magic mumbo jumbo Shiro is as good as new lol. Except IIRC he can't really use magic anymore since he doesn't have his magic circuits from his original body anymore. I think that's kinda it from me for now lololo, loved this reaction cheers!! Im very happy to have been on dat FATE journey with you so I leave very satisfied :D

Oh wow I'm so glad you enjoyed the reaction so much! Yay! Goal accomplished:) Kirei's daughter sounds interesting!! I'll pretend I understood the soul materialization thing. Didn't pull it off at the end of the day anyway, so oh well😅 Oh god. I'm sorry! I REALLY suck at that. There's just no avoiding the truth haha Which best fight are we talking about? (Please don't kill me🙈🙈🙈) I think it'll definitely be cool to try out the visual novel for myself at some point in the (far?) future so I can get all those extra moments and scenes:) I actually didn't remember you said there'd be a cameo haha I would have been much less doubtful about my guess. Yay, I got it right, whooo!! I'm so happy!!! That was one hell of a journey🤗🤗🤗 Next there are two shows I remember wanting to react to for sure: the food one, and another one but I can't remember what it was ugh. I'll have to find your comment about that and see:)

Yeah, you got it. UBW is Shirou keeping on the path that lead to Archer but with Rin's love and support, things hopefully won't end that way. He remains selfless. HF Shirou is him letting go of Kiritsugu's ideals and choosing the one he loves(Sakura) over those ideals. And he allows himself to be selfish.

Redding Tier

It's a shame that they never did a proper adaptation of the Fate Route. It's not as good as UBW or HF but the focus on Saber there and her relationship with Shirou is really nice. Saber feels underused in UBW and HF.

Now that you say it like that it makes sense to me in terms of the relationships: Rin tends to be selfish and focused on herself, so with her Shirou can stay selfless, cause as her boyfriend she'll be selfish for him too. And as for Sakura, she's much more soft-spoken and thinking of others, so with her Shirou has to be the more selfish one... Did that make any sense? I'm not even sure. it's kinda late😅😅

Main Fate is over... There aren't many more Nasuverse/Fate shows left to watch. I guess the one I'd have blast seeing you react to most is Fate/Kaleid because: 1.) There's Yuri. It would be hilarious to see your face🤣 2.) There actually is a prequel/flashback movie after the 3rd season of the show starring Shirou. It's fairly dark, wholesome, no fanservice and some people like to call that version of Shirou the best one. But anyways, it doesn't matter. I'm glad you got to see Heaven's Feel and the proper choice really is leave the franchise before it sucks you in further XD

Super late, but I will like to clarify something: The Einzberns tried to summon Angra Mainyu because they were desperate to win. Angra Mainyu is the Devil of Zoroastrianism, so it's pretty much impossible to summon such a thing with the Grail; the Grail summons Heroic Spirits, it cannot summon a divine spirit. They ended up summoning a "hero" who was given the name of Angra Mainyu at his time, and that's where that story that Illya tells comes to plan. Because he was defeated (he had no power) in the Third War, he was disintegrated into the Greater Grail (the Magic Circle) as any other Servant. But, as he was an embodiment of people's selfish wishes, when he as incorporated the Grail accepted those wishes and was left inside the Grail and corrupted it. If it had been born (whether in the 4th, whom you saw disguised as Irisviel, or the 5th HGW), he would have literally killed all 6 billions humans. (This is in fate lore similar to something called a Beast of Disaster). This because when he was alive he was pushed the 6 billions curses of Zoroastrianism - they were carved into his body.

Another thing that isn't really explained is what is the real purpose of the Grail. So the Einzberns wants to reproduce a Sorcery called Heaven's Feel. This allows souls to be materialized - in other words immortality. In order to do this, they wanted to reach the outside world, the origin, which contains vast amounts of magical energy. But this is not easily accessible. In short, they summon the servants - they die - their souls are collected and dissolved into massive amounts of raw magical energy by the lesser grail (Illya or sakura in this case). Once it's enough, the Greater Grail (the giant magic circle) is activated. This circle is a hole that is fixed when the heroics spirits souls attempt to return to their original place. So basically they use the servants souls to fix a hole to the outer world.
