I saw you guys discussing this on discord - I'm really sorry. I just find the writing in this arc lazy and not up to par. Boruto is in prison basically playing pretend and I just can't care enough🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

lol yea unfortunately you kinda have to watch this mini prelude to the manga canon arc to fully understand whats going on, dont worry though, Boruto is about to get really fire again once you get pass this prison stint lol It goes on a run

I agree with you. Tbh, I know some people think this arc adds enough context to the next arc to be worth it but I don’t think it’s worth the time nor do i think it’s even needed for the next arc anyway. I actually think the story’s improved if I forget this prelude arc existed. Anyways, you’re pretty close to the end of the worst parts of Boruto now
