Antiquity

across the spiderverse was great! glad you got to see in the theater on the big screen!

Antiquity

This movie had the entire fandom in its palm. The months leading up to the release of no way home was insane for the fandom. There were leaks of all three spiderman appearing in the movie, but every official person denied them. Andrew garfield was doing interviews for his other movies and projects and would get asked about the spiderman thing but he denied it everytime. It was almost like you knew they were in the movie but there was no official confirmation. So when they appeared in the movie it was a really fun experience to see them again. And of course the villains were great, notably norman osbourne, william dafoe is a great actor. It was cool to see them ditch the iconic green suit and mask and let him do his work bare face. I remember going to the theater on release weekend, it was a really fun time. Tobey macguires spiderman was the OG and the one i grew up with. It was one of the pioneers for superhero films, they did not have a blue print and set their own ways, it has its own original charm and cheesy funny corniness to it. also theres some interviews that are really cool where all the villains sit and talk and its cool to see how they all respect each other so much an they definitely have a lot of respect for William Dafoe's goblin. Another great interview i've watched was Andrew Garfield talking about how he and Tobey Macguire together went incognito to watch No way home on release day, that had to be super rewarding for them to experience it has a fan with fans.
