2) Gaizellic Island Adventure!

🤔 So, Gaizellic, what did you update this week? (July 23 - July 30)

1. Meet Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez!

It took more than two weeks to finish this Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez character.

At first, my assistant and I spent a lot of time figuring out how to draw him properly. Some of the early versions were missing his skull mask, some didn't have his chest scar, and others included the hole in his stomach.

After taking a closer look at the character and exploring our inpainting options, we decided to keep his iconic skull mask and chest scar, but leave out the hole in his stomach.

The main reason was simple: I think most people prefer a more stylized, visually appealing version of Grimmjow rather than a completely manga-accurate one. A flat black hole in the middle of his stomach doesn't look very attractive, so we chose to fill it in while keeping the rest of his signature features intact.

2. Orc Village Update

The initial development of the Orc Village and its assets is finally complete. Unfortunately, I'm sorry to say that it's still not ready to be shipped into the game.

The main issue is with the event trigger system. The code I wrote keeps getting confused about where the protagonist actually is—whether they're in Gaizellic Village (the main village) or the Orc Village, where they're being held prisoner.

Because of this, when you complete certain events, the game sometimes sends the protagonist back to Gaizellic Village without triggering the proper escape event. It's a pretty frustrating bug, and I've been trying to track it down.

I spent last weekend reviewing the event code, but... as some of you already know, I ended up getting sidetracked working on the webtoon instead.

I apologize for the delay. I promise I'll focus on fixing this bug this weekend so I can finally release the first playable version of the Orc Village.

In the meantime, here are a few preview screenshots from the Orc Village events. Every image has been partially covered, since I had to censor some NSFW content before posting them here.

3. Travel Map

The Travel Map is a side project I'm working on to make Gaizellic Adventure feel more like an actual adventure game instead of just a visual novel.

Once it's fully implemented, players will have much more freedom to travel around the world, visit different locations, and explore at their own pace instead of simply following a predefined story route.

This is one of the features I'm personally the most excited about because I think it will make the game feel much more alive and rewarding to explore.

Once the core Orc Village content is finally in place, I can have my assistant focus on creating more game assets and event content while I spend more time developing the Travel Map system. That way, both the game's content and gameplay can continue to grow at the same time.

The game should automatically load your latest save when you open the game. If it doesn’t appear right away, please wait about 5 seconds for your saved data to finish loading.
Here are a few tips when chatting with AI character bots.
If you see the wrong picture showing for any action you’re doing with an anime character, please report what happened, and I’ll review and fix it.
For now, you can send up to 300 messages a day. This limit may change after I review the billing from the AI system.
Sometimes you have to be very specific and descriptive if you want to trigger a certain action image. Vague messages may confuse the AI.
As before, you’ll need 300 charisma points to unlock all NSFW actions. The anime characters won’t jump into bed with you right away.
