Hey folks! 👋

As some of you may have seen in the poll, I asked if it would be okay for me to take a one-week break from creating the webtoon so I could spend some time researching and experimenting with video generation. More than 3/4 of you voted in favor of letting me take this week to work on video generation research, so thank you so much for giving me the green light!

So this week, I’ve been playing around with ComfyUI and a few other applications to get a better understanding of how video generation works. I’ve come across two models that I’m particularly interested in working with. For one of them, I actually had to email the company directly and get explicit permission to use the model for commercial purposes—which they kindly approved!

Video generation definitely takes quite a bit of time to learn, but I think it could be a really worthwhile investment for the long term and hopefully bring something new and exciting to our members. I’ll keep you updated as I make progress!

I really appreciate your patience this week. ❤️

Also, all of my previous content should be temporarily unlocked for the $5 tier as well, so if you’ve missed any of the older webtoons, this might be a good time to catch up before they disappear!

Besides video, my assistant and I have also been working on some new prompts to create more detailed illustration-style artwork. Based on the reactions to the bonus galleries in the past, I know some of you really enjoy illustrations too. Unlike the comics, we’re putting a lot more emphasis on the artwork itself, with extra attention to detail and overall visual quality.

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to take this one-week break from the webtoon. I really appreciate your support and understanding. 🙏

I’ll keep you posted and let you know as soon as I have more news!
