2) Gaizellic Island Adventure!

🤔 So, Gaizellic, what did you update this week? (Sep 10 - Sep 17)

Please note: the following updates are not live yet. These are the changes I’m currently working on, and I expect them to go live within the next 2 days.

I’m in the middle of revamping a lot of the gameplay aspects of Gaizellic Adventure right now, so I wanted to give you a heads-up about some changes that are coming.

1. Stats will be harder to gain

Right now, if you really wanted to, you could raise a stat to 1,000 in a single day. Previously, this wasn’t really a big issue because, well... who really cared how many stats you had? 😂

But now that I’m trying to turn Gaizellic Adventure into an actual fun game with more meaningful gameplay and progression, I’m going to be doing a lot of rebalancing. Because of that, some of the existing game logic will change.

Part-time jobs

When you do a part-time job, the reward may vary.

You’ll still earn gold when you successfully complete a job, but you may also have a chance to receive rare items in addition to your regular pay. Some of these rare items can unlock new outfits, so there will be some nice surprises to look forward to while doing your regular jobs. (such as farmer's outfit)

On the other hand, gaining stats won’t be automatic anymore. Whether you gain stats or find a rare item will depend on certain criteria, so it won’t simply be “do the job → automatically gain stats.”

So while the stat progression is being rebalanced, there are also new rewards to discover. You might go to work expecting your normal paycheck and come home with something much more interesting. 👀

Adventure rewards

Some of the stat rewards you get from adventures may become random.

Right now, there are certain events that always give you permanent stat increases. In the future, this may depend more on your luck. You might gain more stats, less stats, or potentially nothing depending on the situation.

Because of this, I’ll also be introducing more stats in the future, such as Luck, Karma, Spirituality, and possibly others.

Higher stats will cost more to increase

Learning and raising stats will also become more expensive as your stats get higher.

We won’t have a flat price anymore. For example, if you already have 300 Charisma, increasing it from 300 → 301 will cost more than increasing it from 10 → 11.

The goal is to make character progression feel more meaningful instead of letting everyone max out their stats extremely quickly.

So... is this going to become a grinding game?

No. Absolutely not. 😂

I don’t want Gaizellic Adventure to become a game where you have to do daily homework just to keep up.

The reason I’m making these changes is because the current balance is simply too easy. Right now, after playing for a couple of days, you can end up with your stats and gold basically maxed out. Once that happens, there isn’t much of a sense of progression anymore.

So this is less about making the game harder and more about fixing the balance.

Gaizellic Adventure will remain a casual game. I want you to be able to drop in, play for a bit, explore, do some adventures, interact with characters, and then leave without feeling like you have a bunch of daily tasks waiting for you.

I’d rather have progression take a little longer while still feeling fun and rewarding than have everyone max everything out after a few days.

2. Patreon login/API updates

Patreon has been making changes to their own Login API, so I’ve also been working on updating my system to follow their newest API standards.

Their documentation can be a little vague at times, so I’ve been testing and tweaking things here and there to make sure Patreon members don’t run into random problems or headaches when logging into Gaizellic Adventure.

I’m still working on this part, and I’ll send out a separate notice as more updates are made.

3. NSFW content

I was originally planning to add Nanami to the chatbot, but I had to prioritize system stability instead, so I wasn’t able to get him into the game yet.

Once I get the underlying systems sorted out and make Gaizellic Adventure a more robust, game-like application, I’ll be able to focus more on adding new content and characters.

You’ll play as Reiben Reeves, a young adventurer living in a medieval fantasy world. Explore an open world where you can train your stats, battle monsters to grow stronger, and experience unique Character Encounter events with AI CHATBOT. Travel across realms, face challenges, and meet hot anime guys along the way.

No installation needed! Lie back, cozy up with a blanket, and dive into the fantasy world of Gaizellic Island—right on your phone.

The game should automatically load your latest save when you open the game. If it doesn’t appear right away, please wait about 5 seconds for your saved data to finish loading.
Here are a few tips when chatting with AI character bots.
If you see the wrong picture showing for any action you’re doing with an anime character, please report what happened, and I’ll review and fix it.
For now, you can send up to 300 messages a day. This limit may change after I review the billing from the AI system.
Sometimes you have to be very specific and descriptive if you want to trigger a certain action image. Vague messages may confuse the AI.
As before, you’ll need 300 charisma points to unlock all NSFW actions. The anime characters won’t jump into bed with you right away.

In this game, Charisma point represents how attractive, confident, and appealing you are to your partner. Certain interactions can only happen if your Charisma reaches the required level.
