Because Toei drags it out, like they do everything else. I’m surprised this is even a debate. Fishman Island Sanji is 1000x worse in the anime than in the manga, lol. It’s a bad adaptation, plain and simple.

EZ, we had this discussion in discord, i think the general consensus is that yes Sanji is an idiot simp in the manga but it is not dragged like it is in the anime. Toei just prolongs the sanji simp scenes to like 20 damn episodes 😭😭😭
