It has historically been the most important thing to focus on when it comes to ruling with an iron fist, and the combination of this focal point with the autonomy of ancillary characters gives the world and the people in it such unique character dynamics with each other I mean, who the hell would’ve thought back in impel down when we met him that fucking Ivan of all people would be the one putting a face and name to the penultimate big bad of the entire story?
