The uchiha clan wanted to start a coup d'etat and itachi was left to make a decision either support his clan and get hundreds if not thousands of innocent people killed or put his clan to rest and I agree with his choice all those innocent people don’t deserve to die just cuz the uchiha felt like life wasn’t fair

That man Madara is HoF gaslighter. Manipulating someone to your side by mostly telling them the truth, and then later sitting down with them explaining the other side and watching them fight against it with the arguments you gave them. You know when Sasuke started talking about the Senju way being trash, Madara was all giddy behind that mask because that's not even something Sasuke really believes. The brainwashing was just that good. But I also think Sasuke still holds a grudge against Madara for being involved. Once he gets revenge against the Leaf, I bet Madara is next on his hit list.

I believe Itachi believes he didn't have a choice. And tbf to him it's a tough predicament to be in. His dad wants to trigger a civil war and Danzo is more than happy to shed blood. And while Sarutobi has good intentions, that man is a terrible negotiator. Just ask Neji's dad.

The point is Jirayia wouldn’t have bet anything. He would have just gone with her to ensure she would survive. Tsunade wasn’t wrong in not going because she is the Hokage and has bigger duties. That doesn’t change the fact that Naruto was still correct in what he said.
