Honestly idc what Sakura defenders say about this plot point, it's bad. I understand what Sakura was trying to do, but the fact she thought it would work at all is stupid. What sucks is that I don't even believe some of what Sakura said were lies, especially with what she says near the end of their conversation, but that doesn't mean she has romantic feelings for Naruto and to try to gaslight both him and herself into that is fucked up lol. I don't often see people bring up how hoeish it is for Sakura to do that right after finding out about Hinata's feelings for Naruto AND in front of Rock Lee on top of that. Not to mention thinking that their squad could somehow take down Sasuke at this point was idiotic too

If Sakura wanted Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke she should have gone full taijutsu instead of half medic so she had the power to take Sasuke back herself. Instead she resorts to playing support to have her friends fight instead and then lies to them when she doesn't want them to fight anymore. Her Sasori dub isn't even real Chiyo got the kill shot, Ino should have been the medic of the show and cured Kankuro why do we need the 2 main girls of the show to be medics like let them have naruto/sasuke/kakashi level hands. Maka from Soul Eater would mess Sakura and Ino up that's how you write a woman fighter.
