Who have they redeemed? I cant think of any. Some helped luffy cause their goals aligned like crocodile and buggy and mr 3 but they went straight back to thuggin. I don't think bon clay was ever a real villan to our crew. Also the only admiral I would say is a VILLAN is akainu and greenbull. Just about every other person in the navy other than the random scumbags like the rat dude early on and people like him arnt "bad guys".

That Luffy cymbal was something else, lmao. Great to see Toei putting their all and animating the giants in 2d throughout. Cannot wait for the next episode, and I'd say that after the next episode, the opening is safe to watch (they should react to all Egghead openings though). Does everyone feel the same way, about the opening or is there objections?

it's really fun seeing the escalation from "this is like when Kizaru pulled up at Sabaody!" to "all five elders are about to teleport in" lol, terrifying as it is it really shows how far the straw hats have come killer discussion as always, loved the talk about all the connections even with enemies pulling through to help Luffy and crew move forward especially, the world of One Piece feels so alive in that regard. Looking forward to the next reaction!

Bro what the hell are we gonna do now that the Elder Stars are pulling up?! Can't wait to see all their transformations. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro has always been the coldest looking so I'm hoping we get to see some of his swordplay.

?Robin, Bon Clay, Franky, Helmeppo, Bellamy, Pudding, Perona, Hacchi, Smoker, Zeus, off the top of my head and honestly you can make an argument for so many given they're pirates. Everyone is an enemy in some way but I was referring to anime in general. It's always the dbz effect of enemies to friends or at least unwilling allies and then they have a sad backstory that makes you root for them. Na, keep it evil. We got too many friends and make death mean something. None of that, oh they just got really hurt then magically pop up 100 episodes later because then it detracts from the impact

There are extenuating circumstances for that, though. Robin and Bon Clay out of how many other Baroque Works folks? Helmeppo was a crappy rich kid, Smoker is literally doing his job the best he can, Zeus is just a gluttonous summon that has a stomach where his brain and heart should go, Perona, Franky and Pudding are just on their own side but happened to get rizzed up by a Strawhat to varying degrees. The only one out of that list you could make an argument for is Hacchi and maaaaaaaybe Bellamy. And Bellamy didn't so much as stop being a bad guy as much as gained a tiny bit of a backbone and self respect. Hacchi went through a reform. But that's a handful of characters out of over 1000 chapters of manga and 1100+ episodes of anime. Most every villain they encountered was a scumbag from start to finish. Hody Jones whole thing was that he's a racist pos. Orochi was horrible. Yassop still won't see his son.
