Wano dragged hard. The 4th Ninja War has some pretty wonky writing but you can't beat this arc when it comes to character pay off and hype. The war was the culmination of everything.

I'd actually say the start is the weakest part. The middle of the War is actually the best part and is up there with the best of Naruto. Ending is inconsistent but still overall good

Ngl even though Sasori was nerfed I was a bit disappointed at how fast he and Deidara got packed up. Those dudes solo'd nations and now they're getting dusted in 5 minutes by people who really weren't on their level (aside from Kankuro who really levelled up since they first met). Also, Deidara in general just felt kind of out of character this episode. Yeah dude is a menace and likes to play around but he still is a very smart fighter. Also that Sai insult was so random lol. Like was Kabuto telling him this because Deidara seemed unaware of who Sai even was before this.

I feel you but we got about 287 more reanimated people to get through and they knew all their weaknesses so they packed em up 🤷 sasori went out the best way.

I kind of hear what you’re saying but Sasori nerf aside, Deidara is one of the most known Akatsuki members. We already know that info is key in this ninja world. It’s very easy to counter him once you know how his power works with lighting style. They didn’t give him a moment to breath, rightfully so. Plus, he has had too many dubs already in the story. I don’t mind them getting packed up quickly

On that note of deidara acting different, you gotta understand that was always his character he just never took anybody too seriously from the beginning. I think when he fought sasuke his whole demanor came out! its that damn sharingan lol. getting humbled by what he admitted to be in the moment "beauty" made him truly despise that the sharingan was true art hence why he is always in denial and has a vendetta against sasuke and itachi... holy yap that was off topic kinda but yeah I think that was just character development

The middle and end are both amazing. Its just the start thats slow. Im speaking from a manga perspective because i never watched all war arc episodes in the anime. Only read it.
