I love Kabuto's backstory. Heat was right. Boy really never did stand a chance. I actually used to hate Kabuto growing up, for no other reason than his attitude annoyed me. My outlook on the character did change quite a bit after reading his backstory in the manga though. These days I appreciate him and especially his and Orochimaru's dynamic much more, and I find him to be a very interesting character given this backstory. There have been several moments throughout this series where Orochimaru is either unsure of what course of action Kabuto will take, or is surprised at something he has said or done, and in hindsight it's quite cool There was also that scene after Orochimaru vs 4 Tails Naruto way back, when he, Kabuto, and Sai are taking a short rest by the river. Orochimaru guesses Kabuto's blood type, which in Japanese culture is said to be indicative of one's personality (might've been zodiacs in the subtitles since it's the closest thing we have to that concept). Orochimaru guesses his blood type is A, and is surprised when he's wrong because it's actually type AB. Blood Type A people are thought to be "well-organized," with traits including being timid, responsible, diligent, well-mannered, polite, withdrawn, anxious, etc. Blood Type AB people are often seen as "eccentric," with traits including being talented, calm, rational, creative, proud, mysterious, two-faced, etc. I feel this is a hint at the fact that Kabuto is constantly suppressing his true self which ties into his entire character and origin as a spy, which if true is one of my favorite little details in the series

Everything bad all ways goes back to danzo I felt bad for his backstory but they keep showing why he was the true villain of naruto franchise

Kabuto is such a tragic, complex character. Glad you guys are seeing that now. This flashback made me feel for him a lot more. Orochimaru & Danzo are real demon groomers 😂
