The backstory is pretty cool, but one thing I will say is that I don't like how Izanami retcons how we understood Izanagi up until now. Before this point, Izanami was established to require the powers of both Senju and Uchiha clans, gaining a glimpse of the power of the Sage of Six Paths in exchange for one's eyesight in that eye. After this though we learn that apparently the Uchiha were just spamming this jutsu on each other left and right, so that's untrue now. By the way just so yall know, some of the scenes in that backstory are filler material. That stuff with the female Uchiha and everything isn't actually in the manga, and to be honest as cool as it is, it doesn't really make sense they'd still be keeping up this inner clan bloodshed after the Leaf was already formed

Bruh it dont have to be in the manga for it not to be real they dont put every detail in the manga..I cant stand people like you lol if they put every detail in the manga there would be way more chapters because you would go into everybody's backstories

you aint gotta be rude bro it's just not canon material. It doesn't matter if you agree with it or not. If the creator of the series did not write it or put an official stamp on it, it's non-canon. For example, the Naruto novels are not written by Kishimoto, but they are considered canon material and are displayed alongside all of the other official works on VIZ's website. We can give our blessings to filler content we enjoy but let's not pretend like it's something it isn't just because of that. That backstory scene doesn't actually add much to what's going on in the present, it quite literally pads (or fills) time in the episode. The retcon is independent of that and is also present in the manga, but most of those scenes with the Uchiha fighting weren't shown. I'm not even complaining because I think they are cool scenes, but I think it's worth pointing out since Heat and Hus have been pretty consistent about filler awareness. I am also not sure why you brought up going into everybody's backstories when even if the extra scenes in this ep were in the manga it would've maybe occupied around half a chapter, but ok

Not really a retcon I would assume the uchia that awakened izanagi must has senju some where in the bloodline

Not cannon to the manga but cannon to the show, so as far as the show goes there's really no distinction or reason to bring it up. Like naruto knowing utakata. People bring up stuff being "non canon" trying to lessen it but mangakas put stuff in the anime or green light stuff they didnt have a chance to put in the manga all the time. Hell like half the action in jjk or demon slayer isnt cannon. Does that somehow mean its not sick as hell? Lol

Wait a minute, you can use the Izanagi on reality even when it doesn't effect you? Why didn't Danzo just Izanagi who becomes hokage until he does, or Izanagi Naruto saving the Leaf so he could? Or did he try and it just kept going a way he didn't want like the fight with Sasuke cause he's dogwater? or is Danzo just stupid and thought that these were desirable results for him becoming hokage? Why didn't he Izanagi being found out by the Mizukage's Byakugan user? He said he needed to become the grand leader of the alliance at all costs after all. Dan-ho only saves his own ass...

Okay I solved this myself, in the manga this scene where he uses the Izanagi in this flashback to save his comrades doesn't exist. The Izanagi can only be used to save yourself, the anime made a mistake here. The anime depicted the Izanagi being used in a way it literally can't be used.
