I went to UPS today and the UPS worker complimented on this girl's Itachi Uchiha tattoo, then I commented on her Neferpitou tattoo. That gozaru thing is a speech quirk that rodo does its not part of his name, they call him "ya-san" because in Japanese scopper gabans name is pronounced like "gyaban"

I know it's probably Sanji's role to fill but the idea of Nami being the Scopper of the crew after she was so thoroughly annoyed by him in this first meeting is fun to think about lol, I like that she's the one meeting him first. Lot of fun Nami expressions this episode too lol, can't wait to see the fight next week tho! killer reaction+discussion as always y'all, looking forward to the next!

Yeah I think Sanji parallel would make more sense. I feel like Oda having Luffy say he's like an old Sanji was him pushing that parallel. Along with Gaban calling himself the Preacher of Love and being the Left Hand of Roger. Hell, that jazzy OST playing might've been a reference to Sanji's OSTs.
