Whats good fam! It's breast cancer awareness month, and the fight still continues! In honor of my mom and her battle with cancer, I'm doing a 16 mile trail run on Saturday to help raise money for not only her, but my stepfather as well. He's the primary caretaker of the household and his battle with diabetes has been extremely stressful. He's currently fighting to keep his feet as you can visibly see the bone in his left foot. He had a surgery to place stints in his leg to promote oxygen supply to his foot, and he also has to have another surgery to remove part of the metatarsal on his other foot; meaning he won't be able to work for at least a month. On top of that, my mother has to have surgery on her intestines within 2 weeks. It's safe to say that they're freaking out right now and I can't blame them. I wish I could handle all the financial burdens they're facing myself, but I can't unfortunately. So the least I can do is make a fundraiser in their honor to help raise some money to help them get through this month where no money is being made due to the multiple surgeries. Hus will be hosting the run on Saturday 12:00PM EST. Here's a link to the Gofundme. And there's no pressure to donate. I know how crazy the economy and the world is right now. Thoughts, prayers, and shares go a long way too. 🙏🏾

Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. What a stressful and scary situation y'all are going through.

Marvin

I went through this with my own mother, I wish you, her and the rest of your family all of the best and that she comes out on top 🙏🏿❤️

It can be harsh, but we're grateful to be alive and for the blessings we do have. Appreciate you g

Heatah22reacts

It hasn't been fun but Lord willing it'll make for some good testimonies of perseverance. Thanks for the support

Heatah22reacts

Appreciate you g and I pray the same for you and yours as well

She passed due to medical negligence of her cancer so I’ve just been raising awareness for her case and education on breast cancer and it’s subtypes and I understand how it is to have a family member going through so really wish your mother all the best through this and she’s getting timely care

I hate to hear that. Rest in peace to your mom bro. My mom has triple negative breast cancer so she has chemo weekly and keytruda every other week. Shes been eligible for disability for almost 3 years but they still haven't gave it to her yet. Its been crazy

Marvin

My mother had both her2 and triple negative the her2 she beat despite experiencing a negligent chemotherapy overdose and surviving it but the triple negative she got her mastectomy but after that experience breaches in her care from that same doctor who I didn’t know she went back to until it happened, I would have never allowed her to go back to that doctor after being overdosed and almost dying on my birthday and she really wanted to beat triple negative and wanted to sign up for medical trials be there for me and brother, we have an active investigation that I’ve been pushing since her death last year Also for your mothers triple negative get her on trials because of how aggressive it can be and continue to push for her to get disability and any other resources that she’s entitled too

<---MamaHeat So very sorry to hear about your mom. Cancer is a horrible disease. And thank you for the clinical trial info. I will definitely check it out. Tuesday will be my 114th chemo. It's been a long 5 years.

Marvin

Thank you for your kind words 🙏🏿 I really appreciate them. I know how physically and emotionally taxing going through cancer and chemotherapy can be and I hope that this information opens up more treatment possibilities for you ❤️ wishing you all the best

Nayna
