Aw that sucks lol. Normally I’m a sub guy but this one deserves dub.

I'm cool with either, but I prefer the sub because that's the version I watched initially. But the dub is really good, I agree.

Gurren Lagann has a special place in my heart, and I'm so excited to see you guys make the journey through this show.

I forget how fire the animation was

Gentlemen, there is no one in Earth but the vilest of weebs who would say that this show isn't fantastic in dub.

A lot of people are gonna say cool things about this show, but I've gotta say First: There isn't another show /anywhere/ that makes a man as hype and moved as this one. Yall's reactions is gonna be fantastic. Second, Kamina and Simon kill it in the dub, and a few others. Third, it's Kah-meen-ah, and See-moan. You guys are saying Kamina like the clone planet in Star Wars XD Last, Yoko's got Apex Titties and they're their own character really.

SUB! Phew, good move fellas. While the dub is good, the sub is great and the one to go with. Dub-only watchers don't realize that there's a crucial element of TTGL that you miss out on because the english VA's don't replicate it well enough.

The show is good in dub, no one's saying that. But as the #1 person that's been asking these two to watch TTGL for about ONE YEAR (while everyone else kept quiet, I kept harping them to watch TTGL, put it on the poll, everyone vote for it on the poll, it loses the poll, I say put it on the next poll, rinse and repeat), I'd say sub is the way to go. The easiest way for me to describe why sub over dub is: (without spoilers for the fellas) go youtube "Giga drill breaker sub". It wasn't just some silly-named special attack for jpn VA watchers, that shit gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.

I watched a couple of episodes of this back in 2011 but I never ended up finishing it. Can’t wait to watch this classic with you guys!

This makes me so happy

The dub is good, but Kamina only yells in the dub. In the sub? He *roars*!

I liked the sub a lot more. The OG voice actors carried the emotion of the series further for me. It's still decent in english dub though.

Burk314

Sub all the way for me. The dub isn't bad, but it just doesn't compare.
