Hus sounded a lot better when I talked with him yesterday.  Definitely better than Tuesday.  So we should be able to start recording again on Monday. Hope y'all enjoy your weekend 🙏🏾

I love this anime, especially this arc. But episodes like this are why I love the manga so much more. Waaay too much standing around with nothing happening. I understand creating tension in the scene, but it kills the pacing.

"avant garde" (pronounced "avant guard") means that something is ahead of its time or cutting edge. guy was basically asking why is kakashi always one step ahead of him

You guys probably realize this but Gaara scares Naruto a lot more than anyone else because he represents a path Naruto himself could have taken because of their similar circumstances. It's different from someone like Shikamaru who views Gaara as a psycho but can't relate to him.

Let’s go finally made it to the hype of Sasuke V Gaara. When I first saw the episode I also felt like Sasuke should’ve made his own pose during the battle. But you come to realize it’s more a respect factor paying homage than stealing his moves.

If you dont want filler episodes to interrupt arcs then you need it to happen. It's not that serious.

But we still do get filler episodes interrupting arcs. Jiraiya taking Naruto to do all that stuff before he throws him off the cliff was filler. Naruto riding Gamabunta all day was filler. Konhamaru and Naruto getting lost on the way to the arena was filler. And that’s just a few examples in the last few episodes. Plus there are entire fillers arcs. I personally would rather they made the series like jjk or demon slayer. Do a season with better quality then take a break. But I’m still partial to manga over anime anyway 🤷🏾‍♂️

@Kevin Croft That's assuming you're accepting the bad way big shounen anime's do things. There are a lot of animes that just wait a few years while they're working on the next season before releasing more episodes that don't have filler. Filler is not a requirement it's a byproduct of greed and early 2000s Japanese TV production bigwigs. Additionally Naruto Shippuden does this pacing stuff worse and has more filler than anything I've seen in my life.

Yeah i hate the acceptance of this is just how it had to be. No. It’s greed, plain and simple. And cowardice because so many other anime could be made but they love to milk the cash cows.
