So, as we were watching this epic episode, the camera turned off out of no where and didn't capture the first 9:40 seconds of the reaction.  You can see the confusion on our faces because the way the camera turned off was different.  But once you get through the first half, it's smooth sailing from there.

Nuka

Fun fact: Blackbeard’s ship is named “Saber of Xebec”

NoxKing

lets go man cant wait for this next act !!!

Jack SV

These two episodes are good. Again, they were way better than the current arc ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ these bits of information just make me want to get to know the old pirates like Xebec even more lol

Wesley Owens

Think of all the peak lore that has passed through that goat's digestive tract lmao

prod

The way yall threw out like 10 back to back cool theories after 1 watch speaks to the intelligence and creativity

Andre

Garp stock rose up that day

THE POST COMMENTARY WAS SENSATIONAL ! Yall picked up on Luffy and Zoro talking about Blackbeard on Jaya, remember he's the only pirate leader with a jolly roger skull showing 3 skulls, the only other group with more than one skull were the Decalvan brothers who joined Whitebeard and they had 2 skulls reflecting the two brothers. Jolly rogers are the embodiment of their leader as we all know. Blackbeard always described peculiar, ties his beard in "3", carries "3" guns, etc, sometimes his missing tooth is different, sometimes his jewelry is different.

Ali

Goated episode, can't wait for your reaction to the next act. Also, I want to clear up some numbers you read wrong. Shanks bounty is 4.04 bil, not 4.4 bil, and Whitebeard is 5.04 bil, not 5.4 bil

Mehdi Tahiri

I never saw someone handle technical issues as good as you guys do..you guys are the best at what you do keep it up

Rayleigh

They gave the emperors bounties from lowest to highest just saying

Some people already calculated. She already had 2 kids. Perospero, and the first eldest daughter by this time.

Lore in OP remains unmatched. The only odd statement I find here is when Sengoku states that Kaido and BM are more dangerous now than 38 years ago. While I personally think that's the case with Kaido - as Kaido at the time would've been young - it's hard for me to believe that this also applies to Big Mom. She's out of shape now, and has sat comfortable about being strong for way too long - that's one of the reasons why she's so clumsy, she's like a champion who sat on her laurels doing bare minimum to keep her title all this time - she's just not sharpened enough combat wise. You think that in her prime age, and being constantly in battles day in and day out (even on the Rocks' ship itself with other comrades), would keep her in peak condition. Maybe her prime was soon after Rocks. But I think that current day BM is worse, not Whitebeard levels of worse as he was ill, but nonetheless worse.

Mohammed

That’s a lot of D’s in one video 😂

It might have more to do with the size and scope of the crews. also age for big mom and kaido might not be too much of a factor since the df they have can enhance them in different ways

Gezai
>>130182500

Plus since we see big mom and kaido go even against each other I'd say they probably are closer in combat prowess then most would assume

First of all, I wasn't arguing for Kaido and really about BM. Age certainly affects people in OP world - there's been numerous instances where older characters admit that they're past their prime, and will continue to state that in the future as well. I'm not arguing by how much it affects BM - but it certainly has some affect nonetheless, as she is older than Kaido. And she had her DF since she was a kid, as in her more prime years, so your argument that DFs enhance her applies to her prior years too, thus is kind of irrelevant. But my argument was that she isn't in full-combat mode all the time, when she was developing herself and making herself an Empress. She is also out of shape, and been showcased to lack stamina - which might've not been a case to such an extent before. And when you hear in what sort of world she lived - among many other notorious pirates, fighting every day, if you contrast that with present-day BM, where she's clumsy and often wheezing after some exertion, not to mention that she leaves a lot of fighting to her crew, it's hard for me to buy that now she's at the best she ever was. Also never stated that BM and Kaido are not close. Emperors are pretty much on top of the verse, even if you include legacy characters. In addition, I think why I also believe that she is past her prime, and to some extent Kaido too (but it's by a little bit), is that their dreams have waned. And willpower is a big component of power in OP verse. BM is very stagnant. And Luffy calls her out, too. They dream of becoming PK, but do very little to push to that point - but moreso BM. So her glory days are kind of over by that point. She just goes with the flow, so to say. Kaido, even if he became alcoholic and a bit depressed for a while, at least found some new dream and aspiration after WB was killed - he wants that world war, to go out in glory, and been amassing an army to do so. And that reset even his dreams for becoming PK, after BM and him reunited. And immediately that Will powers them up. But Kaido in my opinion is the one who pushed for it more. BM's PK goals were on hold - I don't see how she pushed for it for a minute, after she established Totto Land. And her dreams of gathering every race is also stagnant for a minute, or so it appears.

Remember that Dragon is called “The most wanted and dangerous man” by the World Government. I'd love to know what his bounty is as they've never shown it yet.

Damn dude, first the SMILE reveal, now this. Y’all have technical issues at the worst possible moments I swear. What a tragedy. At least we got the crazy long post-ep discussion on this one. Can we start a crowdfund to get them some better gear or something so they aren’t losing audio and video randomly lmao 😭😭 Gotta love Hus’ confidence with “I FIGURED IT OUT ALREADY AHAHAHAHA!!!” Out here like Blackbeard lol Heat, you were super quick to decide they just moved or hid god valley. Don’t you think there’s even a slight possibility it’s just gone like Sengoku said? I mean, it’s long been established that the technology to erase islands exists like pluton, plus we’ve seen power holders attain similar feats of power, like Law slicing Punk Hazard in half while monologuing, or Doffy nearly razing Dressrossa to the bedrock while doing a million other things. And Sengoku made it very clear that the higher ups wanted that shit erased from the history books for some reason, so much so that Rocks was once the most infamous pirate in the world and now nobody even knows his name. Could be it’s just gone bc… its gone haha Everyone’s been saying they were waiting for these two eps, and they are fantastic for sure, but the ones I’ve been waiting for are just around the bend on the horizon finally…

Love the theory’s fellas legit think Rocks is Blackbeards dad or something idk tho the speculations go crazy in one piece

Very sorry! I gave you wrong info! I did the calculations myself because something wasn’t sitting right. Big mom is currently 68, and God Valley was 38 years ago, so she was 30 during God Valley. She had already popped out 30 kids by this time, and was likely pregnant with twins DURING the God Valley incident as well. So yes, she was definitely getting it in😂😂

t real

one piece Wasn't a thing before roger created it at his Execution I hope we see more OG's before one piece was created

Nanach

Sengoku's goat has some symbolism for sure. I don't think its there for no reason. MAybe a Zoan to spy on Sengoku maybe....It's sus...always there to eat some important documents

stoic

there's a theory that God Valley is the Thriller Bark.
