Week 10 Marisa (Patreon)

After this week’s pin-poll tie the winner of this week’s drawing was Marisa! I know there is no way to truly show the wheelspin in real time however I did decide to include a screenshot regardless.

Speaking of the picture, I went ahead and included several different versions here as there were some big peculiarities that came up. Firstly, I forgot to draw a bush for Marisa. I realized this while typing and something I may have to come back to. For a character with such bushy eyebrows I think it would make sense if she had significant body hair. With that said I believe I forgot it due to the fact I made color versions of this drawing. Marisa has a very unique design. For one, she’s a ‘thicc’ character. Most characters tend to have skinny arms and legs that bulge around the ankle. Marisa has the same thicc consistency throughout her design, even her neck is significantly larger than most characters. Another is her coloring. She has a paler tan than typically appears on the show early on. It does stand out but it’s not clear why. I think Ms. DiMartino is the closest I could find but even then her coloring comes off different. Maybe I’m missing something but I thought she lost a lot of character without it. Anyways, that's why there’s colored versions this time, let me know what you think. I’m going to publish some screenshots about some of the other drawings I’ve been doing as well to keep people up to date.
