New Gameplay Idea Feedback Request (Patreon)

Hello everyone, Whimfu1 here. I want to talk about the upcoming changes to the game and see what people think about it. I have some big ideas which would change what the location of the department store would be. Instead of being the place to visit Leni, it would also function as the hub of a puzzle minigame.

Before I really get going, I want to mention my plans with Lily. As more people come on it’s clear that they still expect to see the main cast in some fashion. In the case of Lily I want to change her from being Leni’s coworker to being Lincoln’s coworker at the yet added lab. This would completely remove her from Leni’s storyline and instead be her own side mission when you go to work. I’ll have to come up with a new storyline for Lily but I will be able to jump to it more readily if I do it this way.

With that aside, let’s talk about Leni’s new story of dismantling a circle of shoplifting housewives. Firstly, let me say this story is inspired by someone else’s real life experience working retail several decades ago. It’s not meant to be realistic or critical of today. It's just a weird story of how many shoplifters, where they worked, were housewives looking for a thrill.

Anyways, here’s the complicated plan that I hope to pear down. Input would be greatly appreciated.

I want the new gameplay to consist of using your new Incubus powers to figure out:

WHO is the shoplifter?

WHAT did they shoplift?

WHERE are they hiding it?

Here’s the gameplay loop I imagine. Visiting the department store will have a random shoplifter, an item they’ve stolen, and a place where they’ve hidden it. With this first example the situation is that Thicc QT is the shoplifter, she has stolen some lingerie, and she is currently wearing it. To figure this out you have several choices based on your current powers. With only two energy you may only have 1 chance to gather as much information as possible before confronting the shoplifter with Leni.

1. Using the upcoming Horn power you can pick up thoughts. This will likely reveal 2 of the three options if you are lucky but may also be red herrings. In the image above talking to her about bras makes her wonder if you saw her near the lingerie. This does not reveal if she’s wearing it or hidden in her purse, so may need to make a choice when you confront them.

2. Using your invisibility power, you can try to check if she’s wearing any stolen item. In this case, approaching from behind you can flip her skirt to see the stolen panties. However smaller items may not be discoverable this way.

3. This one is a difficult one. I’m still thinking of changing what the Fantasy power does. I feel peepholes are much more a voyeur power. Let’s change the scenario to she has stolen some lipstick. Using a peephole you can peep into the adjacent changing room and see where she has hidden stolen property. However, if you peep on the wrong women you will be left in the dust about everything.

In the end you must keep 1 energy to approach Leni at the front desk and give her the correct information to CONFRONT the shoplifter. I’m not too sure how I’ll do the selection process just yet but it is basically an all or nothing guess. Success will lead to an H-scene as a reward with Leni or on days she’s not working with the shoplifter. Failure will need to be harsh with the loss of both Leni’s affection and Lust from you.

So what do you think? I feel it may be a little too much. Perhaps it doesn’t sound fun at all.
