For many years, a great war raged between the forces of the Devil King and the Alliance of Free People. Eventually, the Devil King was slain, and the armies disbanded. 

Unfortunately, the hatred instilled in the hearts of people on both sides still lived. Someone had to take the first step towards reconciliation and peace. 

One of the war heroes of the Alliance decided to make the first move, by proposing a solution that involved a...proposal. His offer to marry one of the Devil King's oni generals inspired many to move forwards, and build a new life. 

Now, this war hero and his oni wife live peacefully on their farm, on lands located in the crossroads of former Devil King and Alliance territory. They watch the sunrise together, grow crops, go hunting, and have the occasional duel and wrestle (or two) over who does the dishes!
