You are a talented, travelling cosmic zymologist, specialising in ancient beverages, and capable of making the most delicious and intoxicating drinks. Your skills include realm hopping, sweet talking, knowing how to make yourself very comfortable, and of course, making alcohol.

You recently came across a manuscript written by J.A.A. the astroauthor, which spoke of a lion-headed goddess who could be appeased and convinced to do healing and other ASMR-inducing things, if she is given alcohol to her liking.

Since you have spent a great many years of your life studying and making such drinks, and since you are now very curious about what the goddess would be like should you get her drunk, you travel to the realm mentioned in the manuscript, with a cart filled with your best creations and a mind filled with drinking games... 🍻

Joseph Asscrack's ASSMR

Happy to have shared those statues back in February to serve as the cat-alyst for this audio! (BTW the game Meaough [that's what I'm going with] mentioned, Senet, is a real board game dated from Ancient Egypt, and while the exact rules are lost to time due to falling out of use around the occupation of the Romans, a rules sheet can be found here https://www.startwithabook.org/content/pdfs/EgyptianSenetGame.pdf ) .)

You know, it’s kind of funny. Seeing the title, I was reminded of an Egyptian myth about Sekhmet. When her bloodlust became too much, she was lured into a trap by the god Osirus who used 100 barrels full of beer. He used pomegranate juice to turn it red and Sehkmet drank it all, resulting in her becoming far more docile.

I'm going with the spelling of Meaough too, because it's so much better than Meow ;o! Thank you J.A.A., for another story idea - here is the other game Joseph mentioned in the submissions, that was referenced (but not named) in the audio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goon_of_Fortune (gotta say it cracked me up when I read about it, I hadn't heard about this drinking game before)

Hehe yes, that story is what inspired this audio! Joseph had posted a version of the story (a photo he took at a museum display) earlier in the year, I read the story and saw the Sekhmet statues, and wrote the idea down for an audio story🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛
