You and your alien girlfriend are both Caphnids. To humans you look like cute, furry-winged, dog-eared humanoids. Your species enjoys headpats. Your girlfriend’s surveying ship was delayed due to an overloaded engine, and you have been apart for several weeks. Finally, you can see each other ‘irl’ again! You go on a romantic walk in the hydroponic garden of the station you live on, then have dinner at the only meat-serving place on the station. After dinner, you camp under the stars at the observation dome. Little does she know that you are about to propose…

You are a refugee on the run. Currently, you await admittance into the lands of the Emerald Kingdoms far to the west. You sit in quarantine in a border castle-town, due to abnormally high thaumaturgical readings in your blood. To ensure you aren't carrying any bizzare disease or curse, you present yourself for 'testing' to the priestess Aramethea. Aramethea masks up and approaches you with a variety of strange-looking wands that function as diagnostic tools. The wands shine, strobe, vibrate, pulse, and play illusory sounds into your ears. Some time into the tests, Aramethea pulls down her mask to reveal her pointed teeth and an unusual face. She tells you that if anyone else were conducting your diagnosis, you would be in trouble due to the readings from your blood. However, she is willing to give you false test results – a 'pass' – to allow you into the Emerald Kingdoms, if you are willing to give her some of your blood...

[I] Fulfilling a Wedding Promise to Your Brave Wife

Purpose - To re-experience the simulated version of your wife Jenny, who you miss dearly

Context - In a battle against a galactic threat (hive-mind), your wife sacrificed herself to give humanity the edge needed to win. You had promised her a wedding, and her death destroyed you. In your grief, you compiled all the information and audio you had of her, so you could fulfil your promise of marrying her…even if in a simulated world, with her simulated form.

Simulation - At first, everything goes perfectly. The ceremony, the setup, the upcoming first dance. Then, despite being a simulation, Jenny begins to notice and bring to your attention things that don’t seem right. She can’t remember her life past a certain point. Some of the guests’ eyes and hair are slightly darker or lighter than normal. She can also tell when you’re faking a smile. The truth is finally revealed when Jenny tries to leave the hotel to go ‘outside,’ only to discover there is no ‘outside.’ She is worried about your way of coping with her death, and you fill her in on the whole truth. She tells you that she will always love you, but that the way you are living is not a life. Will you be able to let her go?

You are a supervillain, part of a group of villains who recently broke out of a prison for superpowered individuals. Shortly after your group's arrival to a new hideout, a superheroine tracked everyone down and tried to apprehend the villains, only to be defeated and taken hostage. She has since been kept bound and gagged in a holding cell, while the villains work on their latest scheme. You have been secretly entering the cell while the others are occupied in order to give the heroine food and water, as she was being starved to keep her weak. The heroine has been trying to convince you to free her (and you denied numerous times). However, you have been growing increasingly uncomfortable with the cruelty of your companions with regards to their new scheme, which involves contaminating a local water supply. Will you be convinced to do the right thing...?

Halloween celebrations outside are loud, so you decide to stay in and retreat to the basement to watch films. You go upstairs to grab some blankets, but notice that the back door is open…suddenly, you are attacked by Tess’s older sister, Mai. Mai was meant to marry the champion you beat, and she is about to tear you apart when she is knocked unconscious by Tess with a frying pan. Witches can be dangerous entities, but not your witch. Rather than using her abilities to terrorise people, she has decided to use them for good, helping slay monsters and defend villages. Even witches are not immune to arrows and swords though, so they will often bewitch a powerful warrior to serve as their warden. You are a skilled knight, and when you learned about this particular witch, you elected to serve as her warden by choice, no bewitching required. Over the years you have developed feelings for one another, though neither of you have spoken about the matter. As you walk down the countryside today, you are attacked by the notorious witch Amakaz. Amakaz’s warden has recently died, and now she wants YOU as her warden. Amakaz attempts to put you under her spell, but your witch has a trick up her sleeve - she sings a magically-imbued song of how she truly feels about you…

[M] Creating an Artificial Goddess of Music (Doll) to take down a Manipulative Choir of Evil

The lands are under threat of the Harmonious Choir, a zealous order seeking to unite the world under their symphony by force. The nations of your world are fighting a losing battle, so you resort to drastic measures. Gathering as many Ancient Strings as you can find, you create something powerful enough to fight back: an artificial god. As you place the heart of Ancient Strings into the open chest of a doll, the heart shoots strings throughout the doll, animating it. The doll is a lot more innocent than you expected, as one of the first things she asks of you is to play with her. You indulge in her playfulness, but evil Choir members soon arrive, and the doll puts them to sleep. After fleeing the scene you explain to the doll what is happening, and she vows to help you "make the choir stop being meanies."
