As we have just crossed over into the new year, our topic this month is thresholds. 

Instructions (refer to the table below):

1) Choose one element underneath threshold type, and one from what's on the other side? 

2) Take a look at what you have chosen, to determine appropriate character types and/or races for the speaker and listener.

2) Combine everything to create your plot outline!

Optional: "Let RNG decide" - Use https://www.calculator.net/dice-roller.html (set "number of dice" to 1). First roll determines left column, second roll determines right column. 

Your submission can be as brief or as detailed as you wish. 

You can submit up to two sets of ideas. If you do, please label them IDEA 1 and IDEA 2. 

Form closes: 11th January, 2026. 

I will choose some ideas for the poll. For the sake of fairness, all submissions are anonymous.
