Behind The Scenes: Echo-echo the 'Evolved' Xenomorph (Patreon)

Hello, beautiful friends 💕
The audio project I'm currently working on is a story about a xenomorph named Echo-echo.
Here is a peek!
💫 THE Echo-echo creation diaries 💫
About Echo-echo and your meeting:
Echo-echo is a xenomorph that was birthed through exceptional circumstances. Her host, a neurobiologist named Dr. Arabelle Chen, took a long time to die due to an experimental drug in her system.
During Echo-echo’s emergence, neurobiologist and xenomorph were linked, and memories and emotions were shared between them. Thus, Echo-echo possesses human emotion and empathy.
Though Echo-echo was an anomaly, she still lived with her hivemates, fulfilling directives for some time. Her hive connection was already dampened to begin with, but then, a particularly triggering event caused her to refuse her queen’s command.
She managed to escape, and found a military station researching the weaponisation and control of xenomorphs, which had been abandoned after containment failure.
There, she found that prototype equipment and surgical stations had been left behind. There were also computers. The previous inhabitants had left in haste, taking only the most important things with them.
Echo-echo lived alone, until you and your cargo ship crashed near the station. Echo-echo came to investigate, and found you severely wounded. You were wary of her at first, but soon allowed her to come near enough to help ‘mend’ you.
Echo-echo does not speak ‘normally.’
Mic experiments - L-R channels (stereo) - Echo-echo’s ‘critter’ sounds
Echo-echo has her own way of speaking. Her voice often carries a hint of melancholy. She is still a xenomorph, and so she can sound aggressive, sinister, or creepy, even when she is trying to soothe or comfort.
Dry sample: no voice effects or background
Echo-echo is not 100% on human morals and ethics. She hacks into your ship’s systems to learn more about you. To her, this is something that is necessary and practical.

Questions, questions:
Why is Echo-echo named Echo-echo?
Echo-echo, speaking about Dr. Arabelle Chen:
I carry her memories. Sometimes, I dream her dreams. See faces unfamiliar, but familiar. Sometimes I feel what I think love is. Love. What connection-hug-happiness is. Her love is in me, like an echo. Always an echo.
What is Echo-echo’s favourite food?
Genetically modified giant maggots. And carrots, because they crunch like bones do, without being actual bones.
Why does Echo-echo call you ‘Little Bird?’
Because you fell from the sky. The abandoned military station she is on also had some animals there (brought by the previous owners), and she keeps colourful birds in her garden.
What originally inspired this story concept?
A couple of months ago, I got the idea about doing a 'darker, cosmically-inspired meditation.' It would be similar to the Star Elf one, but with a character that was supposed to be less friendly and soft.
Echo-echo was originally a cosmic meditation guide (not necessarily a xenomorph) who visits you before bed and takes you on a journey. But when I was considering different characters, the thought arose: what if a xenomorph were capable of empathy? And the story grew...
