You have been travelling, and village tales of a 'heavenly, fat snake woman' have piqued your curiosity. You decide to make your way into the hills to see if such a strange entity really exists. 🌄🌄🌄🌄🌄📝: William (CaptainShotgun) DeviantArt:  https://www.deviantart.com/blackmarketfreakshow     Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/captainshotgun/🎵: Ean Grimm, Celtic River Elfs

Can someone define what a "chubby" Lamia means? All I can logically imagine is a giant Lamia with a much thicker, squishier tail.

I think she can be chubby in whichever way the listener imagines her to be, like there is no particular restriction on how the chub is distributed or whether it's distributed evenly across her body. I guess biologically she'd gain weight "overall," (like in her arms/torso) if she's been eating so many offerings but if you wanted, most of that weight could go to her tail :3

I mean, I'm not saying that's the only way someone can imagine it, but it makes sense to me that way. In my head, a Lamia's tail is five to six times the length of their human half, and it's not only muscle, but much closer to actual snake anatomy, and so my guess is that they would have evolved to distribute the fat mostly evenly throughout the body (mostly their tail, then) in order to keep mobility and be able to survive better. I can totally imagine tsuchinoko-like Lamias with very short tails and very chubby belly, though.
