You are a geomancer who is tasked with repairing the giant magi-crystal that powers the magic circuitry connecting different cities.

To reach the crystal, you must navigate your way through the tunnel network beneath the Ashen Mountains of Alankar. However, once you reach the town closest to the mountains, you hear about how dangerous the tunnels can be and how it is crucial that you find someone who is willing to guide you through.

After staying in town for a few days, you finally get reliable information from Gruffbeard, the owner of the Tipsy Axe Tavern. He tells you the whereabouts of a wolf woman who is able to do the job.

You track her down, and convince her to help you through the tunnels. She agrees to help, but more for her own sake than yours, as she has bills to pay and debts to settle. After you get to know her a little more, you are glad that you were able to offer her quite a hefty sum of money, as she constantly talks about how delicious you might be. You’re not sure if she is serious or whether she is just teasing, but she is capable and sharp.

She proves to be very useful, transferring a luminous sight spell to you and even carrying you over difficult parts of the terrain...

Oh wow! This was the first time I ever tried submitting an idea, I really didn't expect it to win! I hope it was easy enough to work with!

In a cave full of pitfalls, monsters, and giant spiders, the most dangerous thing is our guide who most likely wants to eat us for brunch. What could possibly go wrong?

Eyyyy, congrats! This seems to be a common trend, hahaha. My first idea submission way back then also won.. P.S. Just listened to the audio. Your idea submission, "rocks!"

Arexus Galia

Welp, this was another awesome audio. I loved the interactions between the two (and found the Wolf Girl's repeated allusions on the Geomancer's probable deliciousness hilarious). Thanks to Jackaline for the idea, and to Cadence for making the audio.
