Samir

Lucy

Yes same I am glad it not just me lol 😂

Erwin 𐚁

Hoping the right one is uploaded soon

Samir

Is there a Chat for Friends? Somehow can’t find it. Maybe Audrey didn’t notice the comments

Alicia

Could this episode BE any later?! Sorry, I had to 😂😆

Aarne Helenius

It seems nana dies four times as this is last weeks episode 😁

Heida

Not gonna lie, I'm checking every 15 minutes to see if the right episode has been posted! I feel bad for Audrey knowing everybody is waiting, must be so much pressure.

Heida

If you watch the episode again 3 more times and halfway through the 4th time Nana is officially a cat! 😂

Lydia Shepard

Actually it seems like it has been six times because this episode was also posted by mistake last Thursday when she posted the watch party for The Glee Project so I now really feel bad for Nana since she has died 6 times.

Samir

Yeah same! Especially since it’s the one where the underdog gets away. I was soo looking forward to this 😂

Heida

Yeah! It's 9:30 pm in Iceland and if I go to sleep it will probably be posted like 5 minutes later lol

SongsFromASuitcase

Sorry! This shouldn’t be happening so much. I am having a talk with my assistant editor today. So sorry! It’s being fixed right now.

Jay Johnston

My families Thanksgiving is always going over to my Grandpa's house. Usually it would be me, my mom, my sister, for a few years her boyfriend, though now their broken up, plus my Grandpa and his wife. Sometimes his wife's children would be over for it sometimes not. I always like Thanksgiving because it's just everyone having a big dinner together.

Heida

Yay! It's 00:45 and I'm still awake! Hadn't checked in a while though.

Heida

It must have been corrected before I watched it. Honestly if it was me I'd mess up a LOT more because my head is all over the place lol

Andrea

Ah, that green bean casserole recipe is a Thanksgiving staple with my family! Love it! Usually celebrate with family, but for a few years when my parents divorced, my mom would visit and do a Friendsgiving with my friends & some of their families. Those were always fun. This past year I got COVID a few days before—so I stayed home, and my family had some of my favorite Thanksgiving foods delivered. It was very hard for my 7 year old nephew that we couldn’t be together—so lots of FaceTime calls!

never celebrated Thanksgiving (im from the us), my parents are from Mexico so already it didn't have family relevance. Those days were still eventful because my parents would make barbacoa for peoples family dinners who did celebrate at least the feast part of Thanksgiving, it was a business day for us 😅. Any down time from helping out I spent watching QVC ads for sparkly things I knew I would never have 😂. I'm mostly using past tense but still the same business on big holidays.

Miguel Candeias

here in Portugal we don't celebrate Thanksgiving

Heida

Yay finally the right episode! Growing up in Iceland we didn't really celebrate Thanksgiving and it isn't a National Holiday. But for a few years I did go to a potluck just like you described at my church, where everyone brought a side dish, dessert or drinks (we usually brought sweet potatoes) and the church provided the turkey. There was also a tradition where we wrote on a piece of paper what we were thankful for. It hasn't been held since before Covid and I honestly don't know why. It was very chill and cozy. But about the show I feel so bad for Monica. She's literally the mom of the group. She has ALL the responsibilty. The other friends pissed me off in this one (especially Rachel) but Chandler had some hilarious remarks/ and the ending was so sweet. Also, about Ross and the baby/Carol/Susan thing... yeah that's weird (and I'm not even talking about Ross talking to the unborn baby). I'm sure as the pregnant person it gets annoying after some time but I think it's sweet when parents want their baby to know their voice. The homophobia/lesbophobia is one of the things people criticise about the show. Ross clearly has trust issues (for good reason) but he also has some underlying issues with Carol being a lesbian. It's not just the fact that she cheated, it's also the fact that she cheated with another woman. I did like that ending scene though when the baby kicked. And Susan was a lot less hostile towards Ross. Btw, I don't know if you noticed but this is a different actress to the one in episode 2 which was Anita Barone. She was looking for a role as a series regular and was later cast as Karen Foxworthy in The Jeff Foxworthy Show. From here on out Carol is played by Jane Sibbett. Alson, In case you didn't get it, the title is a reference to Underdog, a cartoon superhero dog, best known for his catchphrase, "There's no need to fear – Underdog is here!". In this case, it is a parade balloon. Also, you seem to know the song "Don't Stand So Close To Me". It was sung by Will in S1 of Glee, when Rachel had a crush on him, (which you might not remember). The song is by The Police. Fun fact is the band's drummer is Stewart Copeland, whose uncle Hunter Copeland was married to Courteney Cox's (Monica) mother at the time of his death in 2005.

Alicia

I usually make a pizza for my mom and kiddo. A really big one and everyone gets 1/3 with their favorite topping and we watch the football games

Am irish so no thanksgiving here. Celebrated it once with my friends famoly cause their step mother is american and she made pumpkin pie. Never had it before. Loved it!

Samir

I have never celebrated Thanksgiving but I’ve always heard about it cause my aunt and cousins live in the US and they would send us pics. I’m gonna visit them at some point so maybe I should do that on thanksgiving to get the full experience. Growing up we celebrated Christmas and in some Middle Eastern countries Christians celebrate St Barbara’s day before Christmas where kids would get costumes (kinda like Halloween) and make some traditional recipes for that holiday. It was kinda fun when I was a kid but I haven’t celebrated that since I moved to Germany 9 years ago😅

Jeanette Dawe

my payment didn't get taken out till now so I was unable to watch this yesterday but I finally got it back.

Leanne W

I don't normally celebrate as I'm from Scotland, but I went to my friends in Baltimore for last Thanksgiving for the first time and had a blast celebrating it. Helping make the food and pumpkin pie from scratch was so much fun. It was with my friend, her husband and both their families. It was definitely a fun experience

I’m from Venezuela and we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving there but since living in the US I got to know and taste the traditional foods, so it’s been a few years now that I go down to Miami to visit one of my best friends (also from Venezuela) and we cook all the traditional Thanksgiving dinner dishes together and leave the Venezuelan touch for dessert. So far it’s been great and we’ve had introduced this to our families since.

My family doesn't really do bigger thanksgiving get togethers anymore. Now that most the kids have grown up and had their own families things kind of split off. As a kid and even as a teenager I always had mixed feelings. Family gatherings were always a mix of awkward between the questions of if I had a boyfriend and then when was I going to get married/have kids. That sort of intrusive stuff that I was never a fan of. And then there was usually a lot if arguing, gossiping and shit talk that I frankly wasn't a fan of either. I usually ended up sitting and watching football with the guys. Even though I don't really care for sports at least they were just chill and mostly quiet lol. Then of course it was always a thing to look through the black Friday ads. Being shy and having social anxiety made gatherings like that something you had to push through. Though there is a lot of really good cooks in my family. So the food was always good.

Sarah Aguilar

I am not a big fan of Thanksgiving. I'm a nurse so I always make Thanksgiving my holiday to work. So we typically do a pot luck but with non Thanksgiving type of food.

RuthGA

I love Thanksgiving. I have two older sisters, each of them has a daughter that is my age, so my mom, sisters, nieces, and I will usually cook. It's usually a group of 10-12 people and we all have a good relationship with each other, so it's a lot of fun reminiscing on past events and we usually always get a new joke or story to remember and re-tell during future holidays

Lucy

I have never had a Thanksgiving as I live in England. I have always wanted to though - I really want to try pumpkin pie 🥧 xxx

Hoosier Steph

Thanksgiving used to be a HUGE family thing for me growing up. My Mom and grandma did most of the cooking and it was always amazing. After I lost my Mom and other members of my family, it became harder to get everyone together. In recent years, I had been me doing all the cooking for just the few of us left in town. I still use some of my Mom's recipes and I can feel her love. ♥️

Chanell Black

We unfortunately don’t celebrate it in Denmark where I live. But my mom’s best friend lives in the us now, and a couple of years ago she was visiting with her kids, and we held thanksgiving together it was really fun trying it. Just wish it was a tradition in Denmark tho😍🥰❤️

When I was younger Thanksgiving used to be a lot bigger and with a lot more family. But as my sister and I have gotten older the celebration has gotten smaller. Whether because people have passed away, or people have moved, or other reasons. We now have Thanksgiving with my mom's parents, one of my dad's brothers and his two kids (my cousins), my mom, dad, sister, and myself. My aunt and her partner in the past would come down (she lives in Chicago, IL and the rest of us are in Oregon), but she works as a professional chef at a hotel and Thanksgiving is a really busy time for them. We do a lot of "normal" Thanksgiving foods, such as turkey, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, but we also do different versions of some of the food. My sister, for example, has a gluten intolerance so for the stuffing we do a gluten-free version and will buy gluten-free rolls (as well as regular rolls). Also, one of my cousins is vegan so we make sure to do food he will eat as well as vegan options of the food such as a vegan casserole, or things like that. But, one thing that my family has that not everyone has is German potato salad. It's different than regular potato salad, and I'm one of the few people in my family who won't eat it 😅; not because it isn't good, but I'm just a really picky eater.

Audrey Lee Strohm

We always have two; one at my parents house the Sunday before and one at my in laws house the day of Thanksgiving. In 2020 I spent thanksgiving in the hospital though with ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome and sepsis, so that was fun. That was my worst Thanksgiving. 🫠 usually my thanksgivings are great though! Lol

Natasha Whitaker

We always switch families every year, so this year we will be at my in-laws but next year we will be with my family. Usually whoever is hosting makes the turkey and everyone who is coming is assigned one or two sides to bring and at least one pie. It works out pretty well so that no one is too over worked.

iEffinLoveBacon

We've had some off years but for the most part, we usually get together the Saturday after Thanksgiving and have the traditional turkey and casseroles and pies and whatnot. Thanksgiving day I usually stay home in my pajamas with my kiddos!
