I think the idea of Henry being able to hear the music comes from him feeling lost after a perceived loss. When Henry wakes up, he says that he thought he heard his dad and Pan reminds him that Neal died, and that's where his feeling of being lost comes from, I don't think he's giving up hope or belief in his moms and family, its just that he's grieving and who doesn't feel lost at some point during that journey

"yes, because preteen Baelfire probably made lots of pasta" regina has the best lines in these episodes haha

Turnip Crazy

Yeah because I believe that it was if they felt lost, lonely or abandoned. Henry definitively does not feel abandoned. So he's either feeling lonely or the loss of his dad.

Pan is such a psycho. But rewatching it a second time definitely hits differently. And Neal was a BAMF in this episode - tricking two untrickable tricksters. LOL Go, Bae!

I've done subtitles in the past but the problem is that I read too fast so I tend to react before the words are said and it ruins the moment. People had complained. I also tried to find a version with the subtitles that matches what I watch without them but the timing is always slightly different between videos so it wont line up. I've tried truly. sorry.

Something happened with the settings, because Vimeo on your previous videos allowed us to turn on CC but not on this one. The CC isn't perfect but it's better than nothing!

I vaguely remember in Season 1 you jumping to the conclusion that Regina had kidnapped Henry/adopted him specifically by design, but that isn't the case. Not exactly sure where you got that from but gentle reminder that Regina had no interest in breaking the curse; Rumplestiltskin did. Everything that happened since before Regina was born was by his design, which we've seen a lot of this season, particularly with Cora's story and the number of times in the last three seasons we saw him forcing Regina into lessons. Yes, she made her own choices and allowed herself to sit in her vengeance, and I don't deny she bears responsibility for all that, but he absolutely pushed, even manipulated, her there. Watching you be harder on Regina than on him has been a bit difficult but I'm glad she's growing on you!

Oh no honey! I'm sorry! You got me wrong! That was not the issue for me! For me that's totally okay ahaha, i totally get it.

This video in particular...i can't put subtitles in, dont know why. All your videos have this 'CC' button. If activated i can get everything you say and also get the show translated. And for some reason that didn't happen with this one. (I'm portuguese, i get 90% of what you say, also i've watched the show twice so... i know what they are talking about) BUT subtitles really help in case of doubt :D :D :D

Miguel Candeias

@KittyThornton Thank you so much, that's exactly what i meant!

Miguel Candeias

Annnnnd btw, thanks for answering me Audrey !!!

I am particially hearing impaired and it does help to have the CC. Also, sometimes the video is quieter than your comments or the opposite.

Tbf, in the case of her adoption Henry, that was simply fate. Rumple didn't have his memories when that happened.

When Pan said he had everyone right where he wanted them, boy did he ever! 😂 Henry hearing Neil's voice in his semi-conscious state was something Pan could easily use to manipulate Henry. Hearing his dead dad's voice was what opened the door for Pan to be like, yeah it's natural to wish things could be different, like your dad coming back to life or your family coming to find you, but alas they can't and I really feel for you. And by lumping the possibility of rescue in with something Henry believes impossible (like his dad coming back to life) at a time when he's got Henry sitting there surrounded by other kids who never got rescued, and then immediately offering to replace his missing family after making himself seem like an empathetic friend, Pan successfully manipulated Henry into hearing the music. That doesn't necessarily mean Henry's hope is gone forever though, it just means he's currently feeling defeated about what he has lost thus far to the point where his thoughts right now are pretty hopeless. That might be enough to defeat a pessimist, sure, but we all know that Henry is an optimist. Heroes always reach a point where they feel defeated. What makes them heroes is overcoming those feelings of hopelessness and remembering there is always hope to be found somewhere. And we've seen Henry do exactly that before. ❤️ That's why to this day, I still think Pan is the best true villain character in the series. The people he's manipulating for his own selfish reasons can't possibly grasp how deeply they're being manipulated because he wraps it in layers of more obvious and therefore easily thwarted manipulations so they feel like they're winning which then inflates their confidence and keeps their defenses down. He's scary good at what he does! (I'm no psychologist, I've just seen this show a lot 😂 Also it's the same tactic as in a certain popular 80s movie when both characters were fighting left-handed unbeknownst to one another. Pan fights "left-handed" so his opponent will keep their guard down and get sloppy thinking they don't have to try as hard 😅 Our Storybrooke crew should've played Magic the Gathering 🥰 before their trip to Neverland in preparation for facing off against a master strategist like Pan!)
