the first 3 minutes of you trying to figuring out who left last week is SO REAL

I’m gunna be honest. There’s not really any “drama”. They kinda just compare Michael to Blake. But it doesn’t really bother him to the point where it causes drama. I genuinely think they’re keeping Michael because he fits into the same type that Blake does and I think they already have a character in mind. And if they can send someone else home before him, they will just to keep their options open. I think it was pretty obvious that Abraham was going to go home, especially because his last chance performances, which are the only time he gets seen by Ryan have been mediocre compared to everyone else’s. I don’t think I’ve ever liked any of them. And even though Michael struggles in the booth, he always does a good performance for Ryan. And it’s Ryan’s final say. I can promise you that Ryan would not let production overrule a decision for his show. That’s the thing about the show is that we don’t know what Ryan is thinking and so we might not understand why he chooses to keep someone. He clearly has a vision. I also think Ryan is very rash in his decisions. Like when he eliminated Marisa cause she used his name as a call out in her performance. I think he got turned off by what Abraham did and for lack of better terms got the “ick” and was like I don’t want him.

😂😂 dang Michael really is that invisible to you Audrey! Hilarious you thought he was eliminated but also again such a bummer because he’s one of my favorites.

I'm so surprised Aylin wasn't in the bottom, but Lily was. To me, Lily was a standout and Aylin faded away.

Landon Ballesteros

I’d pick the same bottom 3 but ugh, I really wish they saved Abraham. When I think about what these contenders could add to Glee, Abraham is much more unique, especially vocally. I was so stoked to see Abraham in KPOP on Broadway but the production closed so early, so I do hope we see more of him soon.

Jennifer Lawrence

I'm happy to hear he's still out there pursuing things despite the fact that this didn't work out for him. He's really talented

Jennifer Lawrence

Lily stood out so much in that video. Made me surprised she ended up in the bottom

HOW IS MICHAEL STILL HERE. Abraham deserved so much better

i know a lot of people here don't like michael/think he's forgettable (in a similar vein to nellie maybe?) but my top two back in 2011 ish and even now is michael and nellie. they were just so relatable and like 'oh wow that's me on the screen'. plus i just really like the kind of understated indie vibe they both have going on. i will always say, yeah, objectively there's better performers/singers in the competitors but (similar to damien last season) there's just a genuineness and niceness to them that makes me root for them and tbh i don't think michael's as bad as people make him out to be! as for abraham going this week, i love everything about him except for the pinched nasally tone he has going on. extremely sad that he has to go on a week where you could tell he had worked VERY hard though :( my top for this week though would have to be shanna, ali and blake. and my bottom would've been michael, abraham and lily so same as the show! excited for the last few episodes, there's one you're going to be particularly pleased by considering comments you made in season 1!

It really makes me sad that you forgot that Michael was even in the competition. I really liked him back in the day and now. I did notice though that when he performed during the homework assignment, you didn't pay attention to his section and instead commented on Ali's hair. With Michael I feel honestly he just needs better direction to bring what they want from him. Like for example this weeks song, he might not have the right voice for a rock song, so he needs more direction, while Blake blends better into a rock song. Also, the note of he's not showing a lot of emotion when he's singing in the booth shouldn't matter. He's not trying to perform with his face at that point, but instead with his voice.

I feel so embarrassed! When Robert said the guest mentor had a connection to the HW song and the I saw the Trouble-tones binder, I completely forgot about Amber! I thought the mentor would’ve be Chris until I heard the song choice. With Abraham gone, my favorite is how Aylin. She is just amazing and I think the main reason she escaped the bottom 3 was because she didn’t knock down those poles once in 34 takes. Blake is also doing objectively well. I don’t have a bottom 3 either but Michael would be down there and I would cut him. He wasn’t bad this week but he’s very forgettable, like this seasons Samual Larson. Always just skating by. Never being on top. I would’ve kept Abraham. I think the main reason he got eliminated, besides drama reasons, is because of him coming back out and demanding a role. The mentors really don’t accept major attitude. (Except if they’re a main cast member.) And I liked Man in the Mirror, but I agree that it was cut badly.

I love Nellie! I relate to her so much and think that she was one of the top singers of the group!

Personally I agree that Micheal really just kind of fades for me. He’s never stuck out on camera to me since the start of the season. I don’t dislike him at all and I could see him on glee i just don’t think he fights for it enough and gets in his own head a lot just as Nellie did but is more quiet about it. My number one from week one was Nellie but I also think they let her go for a similar reason to what Micheal has been struggling with and with that in mind Micheal should leave too since Nellie had to and he’s had to perform for Ryan more. this week I would say my top favorites are also Blake and lily. Lily has also immensely grown on me as well. I also do think that Shanna has been super solid throughout the whole show so far. In terms of my bottom three it would have to be Micheal, Abraham, and Aylin Don’t get me wrong I love Aylin she has always been one of my favorites but I felt she let her exhaustion get the better of her the more the shoot went on compared to the others and offered less compelling scenes to the camera than lily. As for Abraham he was injured and we don’t know how bad the injury was however he just as Micheal did, struggled in the studio as well and I feel next to Micheal in the shoot he gave the least memorable performance anyway. Micheal should have gone home though and I’ll stand by that.

Benjamin Smith

The difference imo though with Michael and Nellie is that Nellie struggled to do what they asked in the music videos and couldn’t get into the character whereas Michael’s thing is struggling with the vocals. He seems to do fine in the video shoots. I strongly disagree that Michael should be eliminated just because Nellie was. They have completely different struggles.

Jill

I definitely think Abraham did not do himself a favor coming back onstage. I went down the Abraham rabbit hole last week to see what he's been up to, and he's a huge smartypants. He graduated magna cum laude from UCSD with a double major in International Studies-Linguistics and Political Science as well as a minor in Japanese Studies and scored a 170 on his LSAT (he was going to be an international lawyer before postponing to be in entertainment). He's also been booking TV shows and movies in addition to being in KPOP on Broadway. So I'm glad he has gone on to be successful. My bottom 3 would have been Michael, Abraham and Aylin. I would have cut Michael. I kept yelling at the computer that Michael hadn't been cut yet. LOL As for Lily, it is a talent and skill to be able to blend in with a group. It's not that hard. You just need to listen to what the others around you are doing. It's a skill someone on Glee needs to have. But yeah, they are trying to stoke some drama there.

Lu

i feel like they were going to cut michael but abraham coming back on and doing what he did probably put them off so they cut him instead. it was sad to see him go.

This video shoot bothers me. It felt a little too "let's give them toxic condition to teach them tenacity" for me. The fact that the reason they had to restart at least 3 times is that Ali didn't make a backhanded basket after everything else went right before they came up with the solution of lifting her up is a perfect example. I think after the first time they should've realized they were asking for the impossible and immediately changed it.

Ellie

I 100% think Abraham went home because of the being too complimentary in past weeks and then storming the stage. I know a lot of people don't like Michael but I felt like he could be such a good artsy character like an artsy loner who joins glee and he had such a good energy for that. Him and nellie were who I connected with as a kid

Ellie

I completely agree! People get so stuck on someone that they won't let other options happen. Ryan is a person and he gets stuck with his mindset and when something turns him off it's done. I think Michael had a great chance. Yes it's a reality show but the "drama" was so barely there the entire series. A couple snide remarks each episode can barely call itself drama
