This episode was such a CURVEBALL when it came out! I was crying so hard. My friend and I called each other like wtf!? It's only halfway through the season!! And now the insanity can truly begin lolol. So good

I love this episode so much!! From all the flashbacks to that very heartbreaking ending. When Emma said "but I just found you" to her parents - immediately in tears😭 and I've seen the goodbye scene so many times and it never fails to make me cry💔😭 it's probably my favorite "season" finale they've done! Now onto the second half of this season and you finally meeting my favorite OUaT character next to Regina😍💚

It was always two to three months of a break for every season so usually around episodes 10 to 12, that would be considered the mid-season finale before the show returned in the winter or spring. That's why this seems like a finale because it was the mid season finale of this season

This was a mid season/winter finale that aired in December and we didn’t get 3B until March! You only have to wait a week! I soooooo can’t wait until you see who the villain is in 3B! It’s wild AND (others will agree) perfectly timed with something coming up! And I think you meant rhetorical lol

At the time, this was something that wasn’t done very often in tv shows where they split the season into basically two seasons worth of story. I’m curious to see just how much you like the setup. This really did feel like a season finale but it was only the halfway point.

One thing that drives me crazy about this episode is that Belle is sobbing, crying on her knees for the man she loves, yet no one comforts her. They ask if Regina is alright and Emma comforts Neal. It just makes me so sad for her.
